Testing using a phone to record better audio on motorcycle

Something I have been meaning to do for ages was to use an old mobile phone to record audio under the seat of my Honda CB500F to try and reduce wind noise and get more exhaust noise. It takes more work to edit the videos, as you have to sync up the audio (and making a clip like this took a lot more work than just normal clips will).
I just wrapped an old iphone that my brother was no longer using and just recorded the audio using the voice notes app (i think that is what it was called). The most annoying thing was getting the sound file from the iphone onto the computer (the phone isn't setup at all and I use no other apple devices). I've got an old android phone that I'm going to give a go and see how it compares, as it will be easier to get the sound file from it.

Both the Go pro and phone seem to work well together.

Thanks for the feedback. The video i posted yesterday was just the gopro, so it doesn't sound as good.
