  • In this video, I go over a few slightly more advanced abilities with the Chauvet Obey 40. These functions can adapt to any DMX controller. I program a 2nd chase, and run the chases together, then I add on to that. See the previous videos to get an understanding of what's going on here if you are lost. THank you for checking it out!

    Sorry if this sounds stupid.... But, if I'm playing chase 1 and click chase 2 to add. Do I just click chase 1 again to turn it off leaving only chase 2 playing?

    Quick question regarding playing through a bank without using a chase: Can I also use the Speed fader and the Music feature when playing through a bank?, or does that only work for chases?

    Thanks for the vids!! Do you know any way the obey 40 will change scenes with fade time? When I hit scenes with the scene buttons manually the fade time doesn't have any affect. Any solutions ? Thanks

      greg dennis unfortunately, the obey 40 does not have frayed transitions between scenes. I know, is disturbing but it is what it is. I wish they didn't because that would definitely make it a much nicer set up.

      know of any mixers with similar features as the Obey 40 that does that fade in, fade out feature in manual mode?

      greg dennis no sir I don't. My friend from a local band uses a different mixer but I could not remember the make and model of it. It cost almost twice as much as the obey 40 and I would have to resend it it would have this feature since it's a really top dollar machine, but I can't remember the name of it. You might want to look into Google and see what it has to say

    Can we programme scenes into a chase with time frame? For example for a drum roll in between a song need a strobe effect for 10 seconds. Is that possible?

      Not with this rig, unless you time out the entirechase.

    Hello, I'm wondering if scene programming can be used to move a head light?

    • @DWRhythm
      @DWRhythm  7 лет назад

      yes, if the moving head is programmable by a chanel, it can be used to move a moving head. just set the paripherals for the osition and olor of the moving head on each scene, and make sure you have it set to move as fast or as slow as you want as well as where you want it on the x/y axis.

    Has anyone told you that you sound like Jack Black?

      Hunter VanDervort I have actually heard that quite a bit in my videos but never in person. I found a fairly amusing, considering if you look at me in person, as you from receipt of my drum cover videos, I looked nothing like Jack Black. Or at least I don't think I do LOL.
