I've owned bikes from all of the big 4 over my lifetime and fit, finish, reliability I always lean towards Yamaha. For my 9 year old daughter I just picked up the CRF110 even though the OTD price was $600 more for the Honda over the Yamaha. The fuel injection, cool looking frame and color scheme was a better fit for my daughter. You probably can't go wrong with either, but if you've ever dealt with carb issues in the long run fuel injection is the way to go. A word of caution that in my area (Houston) the Honda's stay in stock maybe a week at most. If you want one, prepare to overpay dealer prep charges, freight and all the other BS they tack onto the bill. I shopped around and all my local dealers were getting high premiums. My oldest son had an older KLX110 growing up and this Honda is much more refined, but I'm sure he had just as much fun on his old KLX as my daughter will have on her Honda.
I just got the 22 ttr from the dealer and from idle to full throttle it dies and any aggressive throttle even when riding it dies what jets should I be running and turns out on the mixture screw I'm in Idaho at 2200 to 2500 elevation. It also bogs down sitting on the kick stand idling, soo disappointing
im in socal at around 2300 elevation and i have no problem starting my ttr check the carb and id leave the jets just make sure your spark is clean first
We are picking up a Yamaha 110 next Tuesday for the family. I noticed you really have to lift your foot to shift, since it’s spline drive, can I just lower the lever down a bit for my kids with small feet? Thanks
You can move the lever down, you can get an aftermarket shorter shift lever, or your kids can wear dirt bike boots and it will be easier for them the shift
Thanks, We ended up getting a different bike, same model, from what we had tested and this one is set up perfectly. The shift lever is just above level of the pedal so no issues!
Hey if anyone lives in S.W Florida bye Cape Coral. I would love to get a bunch of guys together get some 110s and do stuff like this and have our own RUclips videos and have fun like all these guys are doing
Thanks for this review man. Put a deposit on a 21 TTR a couple weeks ago and excited to get it in a few weeks here in June.
You will stoked !!
So how are you liking it so far? I just bought a ttr110 2022 for my son pick it up next month in September

Yami through and through I wish these aftermarket companies would give us love and make some parts for us like the crf and klx 110s

Didn't you leave suspension stock add bbr springs or something else?
They all sounded like they liked the CRF better

Whats your thoughts on the KLX
I'm in Gilbert, I'd love to get together and play on pitbikes
TTR OK on a cold start? You recommend a jetting kit?
I think the general consensus is to use something like the Tusk Cold Stat jet kit.

Seat on the ttr?????
Tall seat foam from guts racing
I'm 230 lbs, will these pull me around or should I go for a 125 or Kawi 140 ? I just want to ride around and good off.
These will
Work
Drop 30lbs and get a YZ125
@@silkboxing4454 that's what I'm thinking. I want a 2 stroke and something bigger with more power.
@@silkboxing4454 drop your ass
@@silkboxing4454yeah then there’s the maintenance you can’t just throw juice in a two stroke 😂 squids are better off with four strokes.
What one has a taller seat hight
You can get tall seat foam. Both of mine have aftermarket tall seat foam
How much are they?
Around 2700
@@The_Chess_GM Honda is more expensive cause of fuel injector but Yamaha is cheaper it’s got a carburetor
@@superduperbob yeah I’m getting a crf probably it seems better than the ttr
Hi man how tall would you have to be to ride the ttr 110 comfortably
