    Hi silly question, but is in button pressed in for hot heat?

    • @whichwasher2007
      @whichwasher2007  4 года назад +3

      It is pressed in/flush with control panel for hot heat. Pressed out/sticks out for delicate low heat.
      Note: hotpoint made this confusing, as older models is reverse.

    my aunties Hotpoint Style dryer has a different tumbling pattern it starts with 2:30mins clockwise tumbling then it does only 10 seconds anticlockwise before starting the same pattern over again

      hmm, how odd, or is it because its a sensor dryer?

    • @Washercrazy
      @Washercrazy 10 лет назад +2

      no its timed drying but its a condensing dryer

    • @whichwasher2007
      @whichwasher2007  10 лет назад +2

      now that is bizare, because the standard 2.5 mins both ways has been the standard on all hotpoint dryers since indesit has been making them

    Why are you using plastic venting for your dryer? Did you know that that causes fires more often.

    • @whichwasher2007
      @whichwasher2007  8 лет назад +2

      +Homeside Out Productions i havernt read any story where a tumble dryer fire has been caused by the plastic vent. not sure where you have got that information, but the fires of tumble dryers are caused by poor maintenance, like not cleaning lint filter between each cycle. and not keeping the air ducts inside the dryer and vent itself clean from big build of lint.

      @@whichwasher2007 would you consider this as a budget tumble dryer?

      Stephen Hale are you letting the dryer get to the end of the cycle without you yourself opening the door before it finishes?
