I don't think it was a competition as much as it was just a "me too" money grab. It's like they looked at the Avenger results and said, "We can get that too if we put a bunch of super heroes together. Let's get that cash before this comic bubble bursts. Hey Zack, I know you've never made anything with broad 4 quadrant appeal, but we are in a hurry. Make 4 movies for us in 6 years." Oops. I don't think anyone at WB/DC has any illusion that they are operating at Marvel's level. This is not a zero sum game, so competition is not necessary. However, I don't think we will ever see two super hero tent poles release 2 weeks apart again. You are just inviting the casual market to treat them as substitutes. The hard core will see both, but the typical movie goer will choose. The funny thing is for Marvel, Thor:R was supposed to being their smaller fall film. Gotg2 was the big May event.
Good plan, but BvS should have come after JL, maybe even after a JL2. I really think there needed to be some serious build up of a conflict between them. I'm a Marvel fan, but I really wanted to see the DCU work, and so far, I've been pretty disappointed.

Chad M Snyder didn't approve of anything. Once he left productions he did everything he could to disassociate himself from the film. I don't even think he wanted credits to the film either.
lol nobody wants credit for justice league. joss whedon certainly isn't owning it. he did what he was asked in order to ingratiate himself with the people whose approval he needs for his batgirl movie, but it was wb executives who made all the final calls. they overruled whedon multiple times. it's their movie.
If the whole return of superman with a killer mullet was a possibility, why didn't they just have Henry Cavill grow out a full beard to both match the mullet and hide the moustache?
That’s what happens when a studio is doing nothing but reacting to outside input instead of making a plan, getting scripts written, and then putting their heads down and executing it. They’re first mistake was waiting to see what The Avengers would do before launching a Justice League universe. That left them having to retrofit Man of Steel as a start to a movie universe that it was never meant to start. They’ve been winging it.
Jackson2143 agreed, its such a simple thing to put in. Idk why they didn't given the excitement and speculation over Cavil's IG post. Also why is superman wearing his martial arts trunks when he's revived?!? Geez
I didn't know about the mustache debacle and thought maybe they CG'd him entirely for that scene and was wondering why the fuck they would bother instead of having him film it.
Crimson_Tango nah bro, when rappers are singing about "all my friends are dead, just gimme a xanax" that's glorification. And when a shitty rapper like lil peep dies , everybody says he was just a good kid
Maybe the Flash could travel back in time to slap the WB executives and prevent this cinematic crisis.. Or ya'know, just delay the release date and fix it..
Names With lots of numbers - The issue with JL is less about how Snyder set the tone, and established the direction (like it or not), and is more about WB not sticking to that direction; it all just feels like Frankenstein (executives) made the film, not a highly talented production crew, like it should.
If it cost 300M to just do it on schedule.Imagine how much it would cost to re-contract everyone for this movie. They were set to film when BVS was in theaters. They didn't know people werne't goign to like where they were going until BVS was out. You can't just tell all those companies yeah we aren't doing the movie who have already dedicated all their time to work on your movie and could have agreed to work on movies in that period of time. The actors and actreses need to move onto other projects too.
Lawdy Not a single person has suggested what you're taking about.. 'delay' as in push the release date back, so the production can be tweaked/finalised, rather than CLEARLY rushed, that's all.
cause it was re-shoots..... if they left the beard he would of had no beard in one scene then randomly have a beard in the next scene.... cmon use your noggin
agreed, especialy for Cyborg, most of his CGI just did not look right, a clear sign that the VFX teem were not given enough time to work. most of the "credit" for imperfections in the finished film have to go to the head of WB who insisted the movie be less than 2 hours and asked Joss to reshoot half the film 6 months before release. if they wanted to reshoot 30-50% of the film that is fine, push it back 6-12 months to give adiquate time to do it justice (pun not intended), allowing the VFX people time to properly do their jobs, and allowing Joss time to rewrite and troubleshoot for some of the more significant inconsistancies and plot holes. of course the best course of action would have been to release the ~3 hour Snyder cut, it likely would have been a superior film. I love Joss Wheedon's work but he needs time to do his best work
Johnny Stob I actually liked Justice league way more than SpiderMan homecoming and guardians 2. To me the top 5 was . Logan, Thor, Wonder Woman, Justice League and the LEGO Batman movie
Johnny Stob there were moments when the film would just cut to another scene. But I looked at it kinda as if I was reading a comic book story and this is typical to how Zack Snyder shoots his films. Meanwhile in Gotham City, meanwhile in Metropolis Etc. Most people aren't fans of this shooting Style because it can come across as choppy and disjointed but it's unfortunate that it took you out of the film especially if you said you loved it.
So when Cyborg & Flash are digging up Superman, imagine that they had hit the coffin only to find out it was broken out of. They then find a hole in the ground that Flash follows only to find himself at the original ship that Superman found his father & suit. Superman has been secluded from the sun (where he gets his powers) so he's weaker but also feels at peace. Superman could have beaten everyone's ass like he does in Metropolis, but barely wins only begging to be left alone, Batman gives him final words to try & get Superman back in the world, the fight against Steppenwolf in Russia continues, Superman bolts down from space & beats on Steppenwolfs ass cause Superman ain't a bitch also cue emotional flashbacks why Superman is a hero and even call back to the phone footage that opens the movie to connect him saving people & them saving each other as to why Superman loves earth & what hope is This would resolve the plot hole of Superman's coffin shaking at the end of BvS & made his return emotional & triumphant. There could have also been shots of Superman visiting his mother & Louis Lane at the very beginning to hint that something is watching them (audience thinks it's parademons) Also I think Wonder Woman should have been more of a leader since she's had experience in being in a team & if Cyborg went from a Frankenstein monster to being the mvp & using his football skills to translate in fighting with the Justice League even coaching Flash on running would have been great character development for both idk I'm thinking of this as I write lol but I was disappointed with JL I wish the movie wasn't cut down so much there could have been great potential
Miss Keisha - I agree with everything you just said! They should’ve hired you to write the script/screenplay. So disappointing that WB missed the mark again!
Predictions for DC's future: Justice League 2 will, once again, learning *NOTHING* from the first movie's mistake, drag its cast back into another round of reshoots. Unfortunately, at that point, Gal Gadot would've cut her hair short for another unrelated movie (as in, Bob-cut kinda short), forcing Warner Brothers to spend $80 million for reshoots, most of it would be for Wonder Woman's hair and causing the budget to reach $450 million +++ DC ends up bankrupting itself when Justice League 2 bombs due to competition from Dr Strange 3, while DC fans melt the internet complaining that Wonder Woman's hair looks like Medusa from that Inhumans show ^0^
NICK yeah Marvel did went bankrupt and there was a time i think in the 80's or 70's where DC was gonna close down and they planned on selling their franchise to Marvel. hell Jim shooter even had plans for integrating the DC characters in the MU
@@suvajitchoudhury1707 did you know that at the time comics weren't doing so well, it was when the marvel DC crossover happened, that DC offered marvel to buy them because marvel was doing better at the time.
i never heard BvS fot internal Standing oviation.. I heard from earlier Screening that BvS was bad. That why i went to watch this movie without any expectation... And i was happy. And i also heard the WW script was messed up. that why i never expected anything good from that movie too.. I was happy with the final one. Then i heard that JL is unwatchable and WB exectutive are trying to change the positive vibe. Now i know something is going to fucked up... And look The whole movie was a Fucked up piece. :D :D
When Superman asked Batman if Batman bleed while holding Batman by the jaw I just wanted Batman to struggle to say, “I SAVED MARTHA!” Then have Superman stop, stagger back and say, “WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?” Then Lois could come out of nowhere and exclaim, “That’s your mother’s name!”
My biggest problem with this movie was the CGI overdose, I mean could they not just use a real actor with make up for Steppenwolf'd close ups? Why did Cyborg need to be motion capture? How much would it really have cost them to just make a costume out of physical matter for the actor to wear? Did they learn nothing from Green Lantern? These are all rhetorical questions, but I think you get my point.
Idiots like that shitty cgi so they keep over using it. I remember commenting how bad the cgi looked in the trailer and so many fanboys replied to me with negative comments.
WB: *sneaks up behind Zack Snyder* HANDS IN THE AIR Zack: AHHH! *throws hands up* WB: Put the scenes in the bag! Zack: nooooo not mah scenes! WB: *Hits him with gun* Zack: *crying* fine *hands over scenes* And that's how we got justice League
rasheed jeffries You should really know what the fuck you're talking about before calling people idiots, Snyder didn't drop out until post production he still directed an entird film post credit scenes and all turned in a finished film to the studio all someone had to do was finish post production, but as the OP stated the studio got in and robbed him of that.
With the amount of footage left out and all the reshoots and rewriting after BvS, no wonder the film was a complete mess. There's no way it would've been great with the time they had. They should have pushed the release date back, then maybe they could have salvaged it.
Batman Jr. The movie was okay compared to bvs but damn it felt rushed . I would have been okay with waiting another year before watching it but something tells me it wouldn’t have made a difference
Jacob Rodriguez If they'd have kept the original two part thing it would have been better. Having Steppenwolf on his one as a one off villain just didn't work, DC tried to one up Marvel by having a giant Earth invasion before Infinity War, but it didn't work. They should have kept Steppenwolf as a precursor to Darkseid, it would have made him more threatening and just made the whole arc better with Darkseid's eventual arrival being teased.
What are you talking about? Marvel already had a giant earth invasion movie 5 years ago. It's the WB who are to blame for this. Why did have them delete so many footages? Jesus! Especially footages that are crucial to the plot.
George Miller should finally direct a Justice League movie of his own. The more I watch Mad Max Fury Road, the more I lose my mind over his potential version of Apokolips. D.C./Warner should go full cosmic/New Gods storyline and take out the whole factor of human casualties.
They're too busy signing petitions so WB can charge them $30 for a 'Directors cut' DVD.. instead of launching a kickstarter so they can pool their ticket buying and exercise some real influence. WB is always insulated from any fall out because their harcore fanbase will just blame Snyder, Whedon, Johns, Marvel and critics for any fail.
Mikie Flood What’s the point of hiring different directors when greedy execs from WB are fucking with you work. Director driven studio my ass. DCEU’s failure is 100% onWB who messed with their movies but then fucked up and turned their directors into scapegoats. FUCK WB!
Because having 200,000 different Spider-Men from different universes all converge and fight a huge battle with a bunch of "totem-eaters" without some explanation of why they're all there wouldn't make a bit of sense.
TeaCup Pig You can tell it wasn't gonna be the Avengers of the DCU. Mostly cuz they did the Suicide Squad effect and legit washed ALL they had to offer over and over with new stuff being revealed in each trailer or spot. Ugh.
Tom Caine well no its not officially confirmed its speculation . Officially confirmed Means ether ben Affleck said it in his social media or the studio confirms it. Until that announcement happens you can't say its official confirmed.
Tom Caine and besides it’s not him that wants to quit. It’s probably his contract with the studio. And there has not been any official word by DC or Affleck himslef
Well I went to the movie theater to see The Dark Knight and the people in the movies including myself we clap twice once when Batman flipped over the truck that joker was in and again at the end we gave it a standing ovation and it was 100% deserve
That was catwoman in cape and cowl. Nolanverse has the shittiest Batman action of all times, even Adam's bomb and dance scenes are better than that. Most of the noticable scenes in these shitty Non-Batman movies are vehicles related.
I hope flashpoint doesn’t actually reboot the DCEU, I think the casting is perfect. After Flashpoint they can change the tone, colors directors of future films. Maybe in flashpoint superman died and we can see the black suit, oh wait. They already killed him off in BvS so his death and ressurection would feel irrelevant and overused.
Am I the only one who has a problem with flashpoint being Flash’s first big screen appearance🧐. That’s repeating the same mistakes cramming so many storylines before establishing the world for these characters
I really don't get why so many fans take it personally when people don't like Justice League. Like...OK, if you enjoyed it that's fine. The world's not gonna end if everyone doesn't share your opinion about a CGI laden costume drama. Calm down.
I think its because the opposition don't just dislike the movies, they bash them to high heaven. And the ones who like the films feel the need to defend their side because they feel their opinion is invalidated. And that's a bad feeling
People are not not just saying they don't like it they rip it to pieces like it is one of the worst films ever. It's bullshit because these DC films are not half as bad as haters make them out to be. If you made the comment about CGI laden costume drama for both universes then my bad but all the hate is ridiculous. I would not of seen it 4 times if it wasn't great.
Thor Ragnarok made 800 mil, BVS made 900, WW 800, Suicide Squad 750. Justice League made in 2 weeks 500 and has another 2 till Star wars. Swimming in cash sure but 800 is not impressive for DC. Only Marvel Studio fanboys (not to cofused with Marvel, the company that makes the comics with characters completely diffirent from the film versions) believe that Marvel aka Disney, makes more money that DC aka WBs. Thor did great but is far from the record breaking Marvel movies (mainly Avengers).
There was an image of the moustache removal before Synder left and it actually looked almost perfect, then all of a sudden Superman didnt have a top lip and looked like hed been stung by a bee
I hated their Barry Allen, in most Just League things, Hal Jordan, a.k.a Green Lantern is the annoying non stop talking funny guy. Giving that to Barry is so weird to me, he's so clumsy and annoying and has no progression. I didn't feel any emotion when he was seeing his dad. And what bothered me the most about this film, is that theres no progession for anyone, the entire movie is about Batman recruiting everyone, and then they fight Superman a bit, and then they go do the final battle thing wich wasn't really exciting it felt like there were no stakes, their team work was perfect right from the get go and then comes superman and their just done. With Avengers I mostly have this feeling like "Oh shit how are they gonna do this," and they win against all odds and just barely. And with Just League it did not feel like that at all, and the final confrontation was over so fast, they did that without any effort. and I feel like I don't really know the characters any better at all, and I don't feel like they had any character progression at all.
I just cannot believe that we live in a time where a movie headlined by DC's finest, isn't actually the most top grossing movie of all-time, times ten.
And how did Diana watch a video of an active Mother Box even before Batman and Superman fought, if the Mother Box only activated when Superman died? I'm firmly convinced that this movie isn't a sequel to the BvS we actually got, but to a much better movie, where Superman was a global symbol of hope (not a highly divisive figure - though Suicide Squad did hint that people might have been coming around now the effects of his absence were becoming clearer) and Batman decided not to kill Superman because he realised Superman didn't pose an unstoppable threat to the whole human race, rather than because of one line of dialogue.
The Flash Lois was the key? I thought memory was the key. Or the sword was the key. Well, the sword was just a sword only it acted as a key under very specific circumstances, like when you stick it in people, it unlocks their deaths.
For the record: As someone who didn't like this movie at all, I didn't even notice super man's mustache and didn't know about it until after the movie. In hindsight I see the complaints but I don't think anyone would see it that wasn't looking
When lex Luther is meeting with deathstroke lex says his line about forming their own group but is interrupted by on off screen voice saying "be quiet son, the adults need to talk" and the camera pans round to reveal Brian Cranston as lex Luther senior.
I wish Warner Bros had delayed the release date and let this movie be as long as it needed to be, BVS wasn't a disappointment because of the length, it was because the story was wierdly edited and confusing at points. This was the one DC movie that needed to be 2 and half hours to properly introduce all of these characters.
I am a huge fan of TDK , Inception and Interstellar. But Batman rises was crap , the ending made no sense, Batman begins also Okish. But overall I don’t like his portrayal of Batman as stupid spoiled rich boy turning ninja deep throat at night. That is not Batman. But his Joker was spot on and he made Bane intriguing and really hate Bane in the comics. What he should have done was cast Tom Hardy as Batman. Because his Bane was more Batman than his Batman, I wanted Bane to win in the end.
@Dimitris Chloupis Eh yeah ... No way Batman acts the total opposite during the day to seem incompitent, as to throw people off of the fact that he has all the money and motivation in the world to become Batman ... Yeah not in a million years amirite? Kinda like superman would not act like a mild, almost wuss-like reporter to throw people off of the fact that he's built like a tank and looks exactly like Superman. Ohhh yeah and how about that dk rises movie eh, talk about a flop, letting a tiny thing like Ledgers passing be a justification for some rewrites of the story? Silly people and their silly expectations... But not you, dawg, you got dat shit figured out, ya woke-ass-dude :D
You've just described exactly what Batman is. A guy who pretends to be a spoiled billionaire during the day to throw people off, and them becomes an angry psychopath at night.
I was really looking forward to seeing who it was that Alfred was talking to in that deleted scene. I was hoping to see a possible Green Lantern cameo, but that never happened :-/
What I heard happened was that the original director of the movie Zach Snyder had a death in the family (his daughter died) so he had to back out of the production. Joss Whedon (who directed the Avengers movies) a friend of his stepped in last minute and completed the movie according to his vision. Maybe all those scenes that we saw that didn't make it to the big screen were part of Zach Snyder's original intention for the film. Guess we'll never know now :-/
Yeah I know, would have loved to have seen more green lantern action but I guess we'll have to wait for the movie "Green Lantern Corps" coming out in 2020! ;-)
I wanted Granny Goodness, to connect it to Darkseid. It would have a given StephenWolf more of a motive because he is scared of Darkseid so he is forced to take over Earth or else.
Fun fact: this has nothing to do with anything in this video, but that youngling that recoils from Anakin when he ignites his lightsaber, I taught him philosophy of science when he was in year 12.
Patty Jenkins should just film all the DC movies from now on. Also, I’ve never heard anyone pronounce hyperbole the way you do, and I literally live in Australia.
Hahaha I was born and bred in Australia and I'm CERTAIN schools don't teach us to pronounce hyperbole as "hyper-bowl". I think Mr Sunday Movies is just being an idiot for the fun of it lol
It’s evident that both Chris Terrio and Zack Snyder suffer a lack of understanding concerning these iconic characters and the world that they inhabit. It does make you wonder what Geoff Johns was doing during the particulars of making this movie(as well as BVS). After watching Justice League, my takeaway was that it had the same soulless and irrational story telling issues of BvS. However, whilst BvS is a picturesque looking film (albeit dimly lit), Justice League is a very ugly looking film that looks more like a cheap video game. Where did the money go???? Luxury Catering? I love these characters, and I never thought I’d see a live action JL movie in my lifetime. So I’ll probably see it 3 or so times, just to satisfy my senses that this film actually exists. But movies like Civil War and Winter Soldier prove that a comic book movie can be comprehensive in plot, have depth in character, and be fun to watch. What’s wrong with Warner Bros?
I'm gonna copy paste a comment from another video here... *For DC and Marvel fans.* I think most people are getting sick of the rivalry between both 'factions', so I wanted to highlight the fundamental difference between the two *original* approaches to creating these universes, and why there was never any 'correct' tone for these films. Opinion and insight incoming... (!) Okay, so what Kevin Feige did in building the Marvel franchise was take both the beloved characters and comic book stories and tried to recreate them on the big screen. So fans finally got to see their childhood (and adult) stories brought to life right in front of them. It was light-hearted and aimed at both CB fans and families. Based on the interviews I've seen (+ common sense), Zack Snyder was aiming for something very different. He wanted to take these modern mythical heroes and place them in a *real world* setting and have them face *real world* challenges. This is why Superman was forced into a no-win situation in killing Zod, and Batman was forced to confront the darkness within himself (that *every* human being has). This was not meant to be a comic book! This was meant to be an exploration of the human condition, of tragedy and triumph, and true heroism that cannot be attained without great sacrifice. These are themes of classical mythology, (which Snyder is a huge fan of), and is the very basis of modern comic books. So going with Snyder's approach, it is only natural that DC's universe ended up being darker, deeper, and more complex. Snyder did not fail in making good movies. The only problem was that this level of complexity is not going to appeal to a broad audience, and certainly isn't going to work with families. Therefore it was not commercially viable to spend multiple $100s of millions on these projects. This is why Warner Brothers screwed up BIG TIME and pissed off a lot of people. After BvS failed to resonate with the masses (and bear in mind it was a chopped up version of the story), WB should have either remained true to the original vision and retained the audience that were hooked into this new mythology, or they should have fired Snyder altogether and reverted to a more light-hearted comic book style, (because that is not Zack Snyder's approach to film-making, no more than Whedon is any good at creating a film that is dark and complex). In trying to merge both visionary styles, WB failed at both and gave us some weird hybrid movie that succeeded only in having a few entertaining scenes. But I guess even that was enough for some people...
aliasbrush2 Absolutely dude. The issue a lot of people had from MOS onwards, was the general public were expecting a DC version of what Marvel are doing. A true to character adaption of the source material. A deconstruction of the medium set in a semi-realistic earth was what was made and the whole thing started to rub general audiences up the wrong way. These complaints were interpreted by studio executives as it needs to be funnier and we get this result. For those out there that have loved these movies, i am really happy that you found something that speaks to you. But the opening numbers have prooved that for the majority of people, they just don't like the choices that have been made over the previous films.
aliasbrush2 but...the movies ARE BAD! im sorry but there is no way around it. Not only did snyder fail at (re)interpretation when it came to dc characters, he failed st basic story telling. The characters in his film have absolutely zero purpose/motive for their actions, everything and everyone is mcguffin. I dumb variable means to end aka the next scene. Its all ok this.here.look.cool. the guy would make a fantastic photogragher. Just dont try and show em at Good stories AT LEAST have a if this then that logic. If bringing things closer to real life was a goal then AGAIN- FAIL. life is more like if this then that and also but wtf now this from that resulting in change equaling regress or progress. Snyder cant logically justify anything that happens in ANY of his films. The guy sucks. I do not have the same complaints about ss or ww. They were bad, ss worse than ww, but bc of their tired cliche awful boring plots with zero twists or turns. In zach snyder films GORDON HANDS BATMAN A CHILDISH SCRIBBLE SKETCH OF A PARADEMON WITH NO EXPLANATION FOR ANY OF THE THINGS WRONG WITH THAT SCENE! thats just bad directing. Also comparing kevin feige to snyder? Not in the same league. Or profession. Ps. Why the f is alfred doing all the detective work?
Snyder doesn't write the scripts! The stories are decided by a production committee (of which Snyder is a member), then the script is handed off to a writer. Chris Terrio wrote the awful BvS script - what is good about that movie is due to Snyder. They also let Terrio write JL for some reason.... It's true that some controversial elements in BvS were Snyder's idea, but if the writing had been better they might have worked.
Geoff Johns was supposed to be the white knight to save the DCU, but it seems the WB suits (notably Kevin Tsujihara) are still in charge and fucking everything up.

Superman ( Zod )
Batman ( Joker/Harley)
Wonder Woman ( Aries )
Trinity ( Doomsday )
Flash ( Eobard Thawne )
Green Lantern First Flight ( Sinestro )
Justice League ( Brainiac )
Aquaman ( Black Manta / Ocean Master )
Cyborg ( Grid, Crime Syndicate * JL2 )
Shazaam ( Black Adam )
Superman 2 - Superman / Shazaam
Green Lantern Corps War ( Sinestro Corps )
Batman 2 ( Ras al ghoul )
Wonder Woman 2 ( Circe )
Justice League 2 ( Crime syndicate )
Green Lantern War of Light ( Red Lanterns )
JLA Dark ( Trigon )
Teen Titans ( Trigon )
Kingdom Come ( Teen Titans Vs JLA similar to how the Kingdom Come story is written )
Flashpoint ( The soft Reboot )
JLA WAR 1 , 2 & 3 ( Apokalypse and darksied )
Green Lantern Blackest Night .
I wonder if Lex is gonna give Deathstroke a jolly rancher.
Luis Garcia Nah, Deathstrike gives Luther a jar of poo with a sticker that reads 'Your ideas' and a jar of severed penises (peni?) That reads, 'Your metaphors'. And then calls him Grandma, Peaches, and Tea throughout the movie.
Luis Garcia he doesn’t.
Aaron Siewert Haha it was intended to be a joke:]
I mean, this is a film in which Aquaman throws empty liquor bottles into the ocean. How am I supposed to take it seriously?
Actually glass bottles in the ocean give homes to small fish and critters! Glass is just sand. Now if he threw plastic in the ocean, that would be horrible!
Guess you didn't complain when they show a talking racoon and a tree

How does one of the most expensive movies ever look so cheap?
to many director on the scene that's why' i can't believe snryder approved of this.
reshoots did most of that, cheap look due to time
Chad M Snyder didn't approve of anything.
Dylan Garrix mission impossible you dumbass
Because one of the cgi scenes is the cell phone footage. Would have worked for the return fight scene but not the other reshoots.
They’ve been winging it.
cause you dont grow hair when you die
Coz superman was dead...
The irony of the Harry's shavers sponsorship on this video (given the Cavil-Paramount-MI6-WB-JL-mustache-gate...?... that's what I'm calling it.)
Brian Loveland #MoustacheGate #MulletForSuperman ?
Jackson2143 bloody hell mate, how could I forget the omission of Supes mullet!
Brian Loveland I reckon the lack if #MulletForSuperman is why the movie wasn't the best tbh
Jackson2143 agreed, its such a simple thing to put in. Idk why they didn't given the excitement and speculation over Cavil's IG post. Also why is superman wearing his martial arts trunks when he's revived?!? Geez
its really sad a justice league movie is out and idgaf
Wish it ended with batman and superman enjoying some coffee in a cafe
Like in the HISHE? But then they would have to get Ironman. Lol
Yeah i was thinking hishe. But lets not rule anything out.
It would of been awesome. Avengers has Shurama, JL has coffee.
Maybe after the Avengers Justice League crossover, if we ever get that movie
Zorastorm 32 that would be a terrible movie, dc is dc and marvel is marvel
Hishe
I think Dc should just stick to making trailers and then never actually release the film.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO LMAO
SmackingTheDust 😂
SmackingTheDust I gotta admit that the trailers for most of their movies are actually quite good.
Solid burn
Lance Moore 2 out of 5 my friend. Think they have had enough chances
That first scene with superman and the cgi damn
I didn't know about the mustache debacle and thought maybe they CG'd him entirely for that scene and was wondering why the fuck they would bother instead of having him film it.
i must be blind cuz i didnt notice
It worried me
It looks more like Nick Cage superman than Henry Cavill.
Raul Zavala WB offered the other studio(Paramount) money for CGI stache but they did not accept.
Sponsored by a shaving company on a video about facial hair
A scene where we find out Steppenwolfs moms name is Martha
My Drank why did you say that name!!!?
My Drank Lois stopped Batman ...not the name Martha....lois also stopped superman in JL ....
You beautiful man
He was seeking the 3 Marthaboxes.
Not funny, low hanging fruit, the Martha scene is good
"I wanna die." - Superman, Justice League 2017.
Johnny Cope don't you know today's society loves to glorify suicide & depression?? Just listen to the radio
Why would they keep this line after the whole thing with Snyder's daughter smh
Pio wow I didn't even think of that... that's all bad
Anthony Aguilar I think you're confusing acknowledgment for glorification.
Bloodhound919 And help with the cgi when he's back there
Go back in time and punch Zack Snyder in the fucking face
Black suit or not, don't know why they couldn't have just had Supes with a beard
cause it was re-shoots..... if they left the beard he would of had no beard in one scene then randomly have a beard in the next scene.... cmon use your noggin
Batman in the movie; clean shaven in one scene- next thing you know, he's meeting Aquaman with a beard and proceeds to shave afterwards.
Name of the Rose he was contractually obligated to keep it for the mission impossible movie.
Benjamin Biebl Would HAVE not OF. Would’ve is a contraction of the words “would” and “have”. Use YOUR noggin.
@@RadagonTheRed I've noticed a lot of people doing that lately. So sad. :(

Pretty sure that's Star Wars, yeah... 😂
Well it wasn't that bad
I know it wasn't that bad, I just wanted someone to laugh at my jokes...one...last...time.
Now my journey here is complete, I must go....wherever I'm needed.
Good cgi would’ve been nice, especially for a budget this high.
Superman's upper lip was horrendous. I almost laughed out loud every time I saw that obscenity.
Budget wasn't the problem. Time was.
They didn’t have enough time
agreed, especialy for Cyborg, most of his CGI just did not look right, a clear sign that the VFX teem were not given enough time to work.
most of the "credit" for imperfections in the finished film have to go to the head of WB who insisted the movie be less than 2 hours and asked Joss to reshoot half the film 6 months before release.
if they wanted to reshoot 30-50% of the film that is fine, push it back 6-12 months to give adiquate time to do it justice (pun not intended), allowing the VFX people time to properly do their jobs, and allowing Joss time to rewrite and troubleshoot for some of the more significant inconsistancies and plot holes.
of course the best course of action would have been to release the ~3 hour Snyder cut, it likely would have been a superior film.
I love Joss Wheedon's work but he needs time to do his best work
Robert Winslade Really? When I saw the movie he looked in almost every scene.
I actually loved the film, but the moments when you could tell it was a reshoot and henry's god awful mustache removal really took me out of the film.
Johnny Stob for me it was the scene cuts. It felt like the scene was developing then suddenly we were watching something else
Johnny Stob JL was a good film imo
Yep I agree... the mustache removal was very off putting

Superman could have beaten everyone's ass like he does in Metropolis, but barely wins only begging to be left alone, Batman gives him final words to try & get Superman back in the world, the fight against Steppenwolf in Russia continues, Superman bolts down from space & beats on Steppenwolfs ass cause Superman ain't a bitch also cue emotional flashbacks why Superman is a hero and even call back to the phone footage that opens the movie to connect him saving people & them saving each other as to why Superman loves earth & what hope is
This would resolve the plot hole of Superman's coffin shaking at the end of BvS & made his return emotional & triumphant. There could have also been shots of Superman visiting his mother & Louis Lane at the very beginning to hint that something is watching them (audience thinks it's parademons)
Also I think Wonder Woman should have been more of a leader since she's had experience in being in a team & if Cyborg went from a Frankenstein monster to being the mvp & using his football skills to translate in fighting with the Justice League even coaching Flash on running would have been great character development for both idk I'm thinking of this as I write lol but I was disappointed with JL I wish the movie wasn't cut down so much there could have been great potential
Miss Keisha - I agree with everything you just said! They should’ve hired you to write the script/screenplay. So disappointing that WB missed the mark again!
Very interesting, this wasn't too bad at all. Thumbs up
neat
When a fan comes up with a better script for JL than the studio. XD
Miss Keisha i liked the movie, but your ideas would have made it great. Sounds really good to me, especially the flash and cyborg running part.
I was disappointed that aquaman did not summon a single shark in this movie, or any other sea creature for that matter
The Gnarly Narwhal Maybe he'll do it in his movie hopefully
The Gnarly Narwhal he probably will in the extended cut of the movie.
The Gnarly Narwhal He might have done in the extended footage
Thats a good point if your gonna have aquaman, why not have use hes ability to use the sea, thats the whole point of having aquaman in your movie.
That is just dumb
Predictions for DC's future:
Justice League 2 will, once again, learning *NOTHING* from the first movie's mistake, drag its cast back into another round of reshoots. Unfortunately, at that point, Gal Gadot would've cut her hair short for another unrelated movie (as in, Bob-cut kinda short), forcing Warner Brothers to spend $80 million for reshoots, most of it would be for Wonder Woman's hair and causing the budget to reach $450 million +++
DC ends up bankrupting itself when Justice League 2 bombs due to competition from Dr Strange 3, while DC fans melt the internet complaining that Wonder Woman's hair looks like Medusa from that Inhumans show ^0^
Rob Lee killcounts wrong - JL2 is dead
Actually Marvel went bankrupt once !.. but DC never was or will be
Rob Lee killcounts dude, not gonna happen.
Lol! BvS got an internal standing O, and WW was thought to be crap! I think we found the problem: WB exes
i never heard BvS fot internal Standing oviation..

WW sucked
When Superman asked Batman if Batman bleed while holding Batman by the jaw I just wanted Batman to struggle to say, “I SAVED MARTHA!” Then have Superman stop, stagger back and say, “WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?” Then Lois could come out of nowhere and exclaim, “That’s your mother’s name!”

I laughed so fucken hard with your sponsor so appropriate to cavils situation in this movies reshoots
Why does Aquaman look like a serial rapist? And why is Cyborg so disgustingly ugly and overdone?
Honestly they could have gotten cosplayers to create great outfits for cheap if they really didn't want to spend money
Idiots like that shitty cgi so they keep over using it. I remember commenting how bad the cgi looked in the trailer and so many fanboys replied to me with negative comments.
WB: *sneaks up behind Zack Snyder* HANDS IN THE AIR

This film was enjoyable and forgettable. Also, Consistently inconsistent.
Harry's shavers are so good they can even shave Superman's moustache
William Horsman this comment is underrated af, i nearly died laughing
Jacob Rodriguez BVS was great and Justice League was a mess.
Batman Jr. Hey, Marvel had an Earth Invasion in their first team up movie, too.
What are you talking about? Marvel already had a giant earth invasion movie 5 years ago. It's the WB who are to blame for this. Why did have them delete so many footages? Jesus! Especially footages that are crucial to the plot.
I went to the Harry's link but still have to pay for shipping, I think I'll just cgi my stache out

George Miller should finally direct a Justice League movie of his own. The more I watch Mad Max Fury Road, the more I lose my mind over his potential version of Apokolips. D.C./Warner should go full cosmic/New Gods storyline and take out the whole factor of human casualties.
I think that they should've given Superman the full Jesus, you know; long hair and beard!
Looks like Henry Cavil could've used this video's sponsor
Instead of defending this movie, DC fans should demand better from the studio controlling their favourite characters!
Well the thing is maybe they liked the movie.
Devil Leg Sanji but the extended cut IS the correct movie. Not this “MCU shitshow” as I paraphrase some.
Mikie Flood What’s the point of hiring different directors when greedy execs from WB are fucking with you work. Director driven studio my ass. DCEU’s failure is 100% onWB who messed with their movies but then fucked up and turned their directors into scapegoats. FUCK WB!
Tim C lol dc would be so lucky to make anything as good as the worst mcu movie .
crazy thought, maybe a hollywood director could just, oh i don't know, read a comic book and simply copy that?
T Cox so... Watchmen except the ending.
Because having 200,000 different Spider-Men from different universes all converge and fight a huge battle with a bunch of "totem-eaters" without some explanation of why they're all there wouldn't make a bit of sense.

All I want is a "The Batman" trilogy with Ben Affleck directed by Matt Reeves.
I doubt that this will happen because ben Affleck seems to want to quit batman soon as he can seeing how he constantly flip flops around it
Tom Caine well no its not officially confirmed its speculation .
Unfortunately man I highly doubt that will happen. Ben doesn’t even seem to be into the idea of making 1 batman solo movie let alone a full trilogy
jeremy roberts true. But we never know what the future holds. But you have a point. Let’s just wait and see I guess

Literally have never seen anyone clap at a movie, must be an american thing.
Well the fact that I live in Chicago and m the movie theater was 50% black 40% Hispanic and 10% other may have something to do with 😅😅
That was catwoman in cape and cowl. Nolanverse has the shittiest Batman action of all times, even Adam's bomb and dance scenes are better than that. Most of the noticable scenes in these shitty Non-Batman movies are vehicles related.
Who were you clapping to?
Why, the projectionist, of course. He did a tremendous job.
Why Can't they just get their shit together !
Evil Jim But Because Zack Snyder is a fucking idiot and can't direct shit.
Wait if they do reboot the universe with flashpoint what's the point of another superman movie in this version of the universe.
light darksoul they won't.
flashpoint won't reboot the universe it will do some changes to the universe and events that occured but it won't completely reboot
flashpoint paradox for soft reboot....pretty smart
I hope flashpoint doesn’t actually reboot the DCEU, I think the casting is perfect. After Flashpoint they can change the tone, colors directors of future films. Maybe in flashpoint superman died and we can see the black suit, oh wait. They already killed him off in BvS so his death and ressurection would feel irrelevant and overused.
Am I the only one who has a problem with flashpoint being Flash’s first big screen appearance🧐. That’s repeating the same mistakes cramming so many storylines before establishing the world for these characters
I need the loot crate! I spent all my money on Mark Weldons and Harry's shavers.

Is Mark Weldon the guy from Auntydonna?
Why not have a moustached superman instead? I mean he hasn't shaved for a year since he died
Yeah well there is plenty of that CGI laden costume drama in Marvel films to so knock it off.
Ryan DeKnoblough I see that the point went right over your head...
I would’ve like not seeing Berry Allen not run like an idiot 😒
HadleyTruLife yeah I wasn’t really a fan of Ezra millers flash. I would’ve preferred someone akin to the injustice flash

Meanwhile, Marvel is laughing while swimming in piles of Ragnarok cash.
Grindstone then Mickey Mouse came in and said gtf off my money
And THAT trailer is about to drop tomorrow. Actually starting to feel bad for DC at this point... But not really
WideScreen Entertainment Trailer has been dropped..
I loved ragnarock
Mullets for all, that's the only fix!
I wanted to see Superman sewing up his costume. Coz, y'know, two giant stab holes.
I just don’t know how they could screw up the world’s most famous superheros so badly.
My issue with the CGI is that we just had this awesome Hulk and now we get shitty Stepenwolf and Superman. Looks like its from 5 years ago.
I just cannot believe that we live in a time where a movie headlined by DC's finest, isn't actually the most top grossing movie of all-time, times ten.
sXeblues Yeah, it's shocking really. As it stands, it will be lucky if it even makes the year's top twenty! Unbelievable
Haha superhero movies are boring and cliche, no one should watch garbage
John Stark Sure, that's why they make millions. 👌
Because... America
Urazz - Exactly. Almost all of the mistakes made could've been avoided by simply taking their time to build.
Totally love how back In Batman v Superman flash was in the speedforce warning Bruce Wayne but like none of that was in justice league
kinda was,lois was the key
It could have been from when darkseid attacks not steppanwolf, like that flash was from even farther into the future than justice league
Also what was up with the floating dirt on Superman's grave at the end of BvS? So many things that never paid off.
The Flash
Lois was the key? I thought memory was the key. Or the sword was the key. Well, the sword was just a sword only it acted as a key under very specific circumstances, like when you stick it in people, it unlocks their deaths.
When I watched this in the theater I straight up thought they changed actors for Superman in the first scene because his mouth looked so different.
For the record:
As someone who didn't like this movie at all, I didn't even notice super man's mustache and didn't know about it until after the movie. In hindsight I see the complaints but I don't think anyone would see it that wasn't looking

FLOAT BAND omfg mate, he’s batman.
FLOAT BAND
He played it perfect. They were facing the potential end of the fucking world.
When lex Luther is meeting with deathstroke lex says his line about forming their own group but is interrupted by on off screen voice saying "be quiet son, the adults need to talk" and the camera pans round to reveal Brian Cranston as lex Luther senior.
Smelly Perv If only.
Harry Shavers serves as a troll to Henry's Mustache
I wish Warner Bros had delayed the release date and let this movie be as long as it needed to be, BVS wasn't a disappointment because of the length, it was because the story was wierdly edited and confusing at points. This was the one DC movie that needed to be 2 and half hours to properly introduce all of these characters.
I would of like to have kept BVS Batman minus the killing of people instead of JL's Uncle Batman
I know it was that they made Cyborg have a lighter tone in the reshoots, but he still looked like a black guy to me
Guardian Prime19 he's a black man, your the only jackass who didn't know.
Mcgyver B He was joking.....
Can we just give Christopher Nolan a phone call ???
to fuck up Batman and Catwoman again ? No thanks
Dimitris Chloupis lol he directed he can't make Christian bale act his films overall were excellent
I would have loved to see more Spider-Man in the movie. I was disappointed in the lack of Spider-Men in the movie.
Ethan Hobgood - He _was_ in the movie except they called him The Flash for some reason.
Ethan Hobgood ikr! He was just added in the universe with his own movie yet doesnt appear in the next team up movie to fight stephenwolf wtf!
I really hope this is a bait
Diego P - A _master_ bait...
`Ethan is a master baiter

Oh God, that sounds amazing.
Sebastian Cintron I had some earlier, and it was indeed amazing.
thats the best kind of coffee @_@
Bold predictions: Mr Sunday Movies will say "Bloody" about 15 times during this video
I’ll buy Harry’s shavers as long as it doesn’t make me look like someone cgi’d a mustache off my face
Honestly I wish they would've kept that scene with Clark in the field taking to Lois about the ring
LAZEDOUT That was my favorite scene. I really wish they hadn't cut it out of the final film.

I was really looking forward to seeing who it was that Alfred was talking to in that deleted scene. I was hoping to see a possible Green Lantern cameo, but that never happened :-/
Probably Superman
There was a green lantern in the Amazonian flashback battle with steppenwolfe
What I heard happened was that the original director of the movie Zach Snyder had a death in the family (his daughter died) so he had to back out of the production. Joss Whedon (who directed the Avengers movies) a friend of his stepped in last minute and completed the movie according to his vision. Maybe all those scenes that we saw that didn't make it to the big screen were part of Zach Snyder's original intention for the film. Guess we'll never know now :-/
Yeah I know, would have loved to have seen more green lantern action but I guess we'll have to wait for the movie "Green Lantern Corps" coming out in 2020! ;-)
There was a Green Lantern Easter egg
Holy shit, when he started singing the "I can't stand to fly song" I was dying haha

Ki-Adi-Mundi But bro, what about the droid attack on the wookies
Edward Brock Jr not just the men, but the woman and the children too!
You cant! He must stand trial!
David Taylor congratulations
Did, did you say “Master Skywalker, What are we going to doooo?”

Woosh goes the joke there mate.
Yeah (two years later) Julia Gillard m’friend
*For DC and Marvel fans.*
I think most people are getting sick of the rivalry between both 'factions', so I wanted to highlight the fundamental difference between the two *original* approaches to creating these universes, and why there was never any 'correct' tone for these films.
Opinion and insight incoming... (!)
Okay, so what Kevin Feige did in building the Marvel franchise was take both the beloved characters and comic book stories and tried to recreate them on the big screen.
So going with Snyder's approach, it is only natural that DC's universe ended up being darker, deeper, and more
complex.
I wanna see a blu ray version with Superman's stache
I'm not going to let it go #mulletforsuperman
