    Thank you Edith.Kindly what exactly brings out the softness?Spices,amount of oil,water,or mixing of the flour?

    • @cookwithedith
      @cookwithedith  4 года назад +1

      Thanks too. All those factors play a role. But buttermilk, yoghurt or lemon play the MOST significant role because of they make the dough slightly acidic..hence moisten it. Now,,how that reaction occurs..we might want to look for Mr. Sawenja..to explain further. Ahahaa

    • @cookwithedith
      @cookwithedith  3 года назад

      Add some lemon juice or vinegar. That helps a lot if eggs are included.

    • @cookwithedith

      Yes you can. You may need to add a little bit more milk or water as you keep an eye on the consistency. This is optional too.

      Thanks a lot Njeri for being keen. Added that part. If you're not an egg person, then increase the liquids accordingly. Thanks again.

    Hiyo Cup unajua mimi natumia ile ya mabati 😁 niweke spoons ngapi?

    • @cookwithedith
      @cookwithedith  4 года назад +1

      Valid question 😅 . Uyo cup ni 1 1/2 size of the standard measurement cup. So add BP according to the amount of flour you want to use.

    The easiest way is: self raising flour, 2 eggs, natural yorghurt or warm milk, sugar, pinch of salt, butter or cooking oil. Thank me later xx

    • @cookwithedith
      @cookwithedith  3 года назад +1

      I don't like using self raising flour...but yes, that's an option for some people.
