I was in Siem Reap, Cambodia in Oct 2019 and loved the temples so much. I was excited to see so many Hindu temples there. Breathetaking architecture and engineering skills make Angkor Wat one of a kind. Thanks to Cambodians who are protecting them. Thanks to French, Indian and Chinese govts who are doing restoration work there.
@@Iamlatha False. Most ancient architecture in Cambodia was built by original ancient Khmer Hindus. Buddhism came much later. Buddhism definitely did destroy lingams and vigrahas, and repurposed the temples for themselves. As Hindu temples goes against the Buddhist teachings of no god and no soul (just like Atheism), Buddhists were inclined to destroy these temples to erase the memories of original faith and true heritage from the people's minds.

The doorways are just like the one you find in the video with the holes. You can see that the top looks exactly like the ones in the time god temple, with Kala on top. I think these doors served the same purpose, and that there is a link between the frequency, kala, and that you somehow can open a portal into "heaven". There is also mentions of these doors and that they were used to enter heaven, in ancient hindu texts. "Kala appears as an impersonal deity within the Mahabharata, the Ramayana, and the Bhagavata Purana. In the Mahabharata, Krishna, one of the main characters, reveals his identity as Time personified. Yes, nice thought! But more likely is that the blind doors need to be closed and are impossible to open, cause they are walled of from the inside. In the view from above you can see the hole in the middle of the circle, the same hole praveen was looking thru when he was inside. Logically when the chamber had one entrance and 3 walls forming a square, where the hole is also in the middle, the other 3 "entrances" need to be closed, otherwise the chamber had no wall at all, just 4 corner "pillars" for holding up the top. I think the purpose of the blind doors (or just walls, when you're looking from inside) is to protect the inside from abrasive winds, even if the wind blows directly at the only entrance, as long as the chamber is closed from the other sides, the wind don't get in, because in the chamber is an slidely overpressure, build up from the wind itself. I hope i don't destroy your imagination, keep up thinking the way you do, just dig deeper!

The filigree on the false doors reminds me of similar carvings at Warangal. Also, you can do a side-by-side comparison of filigree from Warangal and from Baalbek in Lebanon, the two are almost identical.
Reminds so much of Sri Yantra! This makes me think that Angkor Wat is also a pyramid as it's also perfectly aligned and pyramids have the maximum power when they are perfectly aligned to the four directions. It's interesting to see how all carvings in Cambodia depicts the oldest stories of Hinduism but not the ones that happened later like Ramayana, Mahabharata which could actually give a clue to the timeline of these. I also suggest measuring the height of the steps and doors which might give a clue of how tall the people were who built these. As always another awesome video!!

I thought I had seen this pattern when playing around with a basic app made for phones . If you sing into the phone or hold note you can make your own patterns through sound waves. Is it possible this temple was used for healing or energy for people? There is a science around the healing properties of sound waves . The filigree on the false doors reminds me of similar carvings at Warangal. Also, you can do a side-by-side comparison of filigree from Warangal and from Baalbek in Lebanon, the two are almost identical.

Reminds so much of Sri Yantra! This makes me think that Angkor Wat is also a pyramid as it's also perfectly aligned and pyramids have the maximum power when they are perfectly aligned to the four directions. It's interesting to see how all carvings in Cambodia depicts the oldest stories of Hinduism but not the ones that happened later like Ramayana, Mahabharata which could actually give a clue to the timeline of these.
I also suggest measuring the height of the steps and doors which might give a clue of how tall the people were who built these. As always another awesome video!!

check out Serpent Mound in Ohio, Cahokia near St Louis, Mesa Verde & Gila Cliff Palace & Chaco Canyon in the SW, American ‘Stone Henge’ in New Hampshire, and then there’s Teotihuacan near Mexico City, and the Maya & Inca cities further south. I also read something about megalithic ruins on Catalina Island off the coast of Los Angeles.
Also in Connecticut where im from they just found a 12-13000 year old site

This was one of the oldest Cambodian Temple that was built, influenced by the Hindu culture and belief from my ancestors before the Angkor Empire became massive. This was from the Ah Na Chark Sak Ka Rak Ros Bos Khmer.... Thank you for taking your interest in this piece. It was one of my favorite Temple from the Past. This came from the geometric of the stars and the universe. You are correct !!!

Hi Praveen, thanks for another truly amazing video .. I love your work, I was fascinated by the temple shape also. I have an interest in Cymatics. I thought I had seen this pattern when playing around with a basic app made for phones . If you sing into the phone or hold note you can make your own patterns through sound waves.
Is it possible this temple was used for healing or energy for people? There is a science around the healing properties of sound waves . I don’t know if there could be a connection but I took some screen shots to show you the similarity.
