    Hi Steve and Merry Christmas.
    My model 52 also had an appetite for scopes. Just over two years ago I mounted a new Hawke scope on top of the Diana Zero recoil mount. It has been working well. At about 12 months after I started using the mount I reassembled it and used thread lock on all the threads. It holds zero well and groups even better. Your mount looks a better build and should do well.

      You never know, price and cost are both different things. If saves me buying new scopes every few months, it'll pay for itself. Thanks for watching.
