5:25:05 I seen a comment stating "imagine buying this for your 5-year-old son" My parents bought it for me when I was 4. Still favorite sonic game to this day.
It's kinda sad seeing some people in the chat constantly talking down about Unleashed and pretending that it's some 'abomination' that has no redeeming qualities. I even saw some people claiming that it was 'worse then Sonic 06'. There would be times where you died or got hit because you messed up, or maybe you didn't understand how to drift etc. And some people were quick to call the game trash when it wasn't even the game's fault...
I do wish people could separate stories from their absurdity cause when you look past the surface there’s some real, heartfelt moments in these games, and the cutscenes are well directed, probably some of the last well directed cutscenes in the series The ending is a cap on the journey, as the sun rises on a new day, and with it, a new adventure “But for now, rest easy heroes.”
And this is why we have games that no longer challenge players. Watch this guy play to figure out why devs have to spoon feed everyone as if we’re all brain dead
@@zenamra3250 This boss is different and better than other Sonic´s final bosses, even than Perfect Chaos or Solaris. What makes this boss so special is the fact that, first you control Gaia Collosus (Chip) and its so hard at the first time, but once you get the trick is more easy (still that part is hard). Then you must run with Sonic in Collosus body to reach Dark Gaia´s weakspots, and you must hurry up by using the boost and look out where are you going. As you can see, is so difficult if you´re not used to using the boost. And then we have Super Sonic, here you can only collect rings at the beggining to full the HP, but if you didn´t and you got to the Dark Gaia´s Shield, then you are in big trouble. You must take rid of the snakes and make it quick cause when Dark Gaia knockdown Chip, he will focus on you and his attacks have a lot of damage (I´m still impressed how Super Sonic is powerfull as a god) and then you have your final quick time event wich is faster that the others, so then you can finally get rid of that monster. I consider Dark Gaia the best boss in a Sonic game because all over the game you completed a lot of levels, defeated a lot of hard bosses and... Eggmanland.... *ahem * and you feel powerfull, that nothing in this game is a challenge to you now; but then you fight Dark Gaia and you say: "I´M GONNA DIE", "THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE", "THIS IS TRASH"; and is not fault of the game, is your fault. Because you must be on the boss level if you wanna progress. Not like for example, Perfect Chaos that is hard, but is just run and run, or Final Hazzard that is dissapointing, cause is just avoid obstacles and hit weak spots, Biolizzard is even better and difficult (and no, the Open your Heart and the Live and Learn theme do not save the boss fight) We´ve been talking about Dark Gaia all over the game and when we rich this boss fight you understand the powerfull and hard boss fight we were listening about. Dark Gaia, best Sonic final boss fight. *Sorry for the long text*

Not gonna lie, how many times before you notuced the punch option and you could punch the giant fireballs during the dark gaia fight, at best, having someone who knows this game shoot a tip wouldve helped if they watched
A lot of this game was good, sure, but some parts like the Dark Guardian boss, Eggman Land, the final boss all seemed to be far better in the Wii version. Of course, I only played each version once and it’s been more than a few years since then so I might be remembering wrong.
What do you guys expect from a final level you exepct it to hand hold you the entire game its supposed to test your knowledge on the mechanics and such
The medal system made this game not very liked, that and the fps, thats one thing the ps2/wii had over it. Those you got the medals by doing the stage and there was like. 3.
The stages and gameplay are great on the PS3/XBOX version, but the Final Boss was better in the PS2/Wii version (It was really a fight and not quick time events)
the final boss is so bad it’s the only bad thing about the game imo cus the werehog imo i didn’t think was too bad just annoying but the final boss is so boring besides the sonic sections
You people complain about these older sonic games but you Don't even realize how good we had it. For the most part the sonic team doesn't understand sonic anymore and we've gotten shit game after another. Wake up
Just finished this game for the first time, and as a big Sonic fan I gotta say I hated it. Unleashed was so unenjoyable that I debated on giving up halfway through, then again at Dark Gaia. If it wasn't for the killer soundtrack I'd say there's basically no redeeming qualities of this game. It's a disaster

no redeeming qualities?there you are just wrong my friend, here some of the cool stuff in the game: the day stages are good, dark gaia has a very cool design, the story is good, the graphics are realy good, sonic has one of his best interpretations, the humans are more cartoony, the world feels lived in, the zones feel like real places, the game is very fast, etc

Exactly.
It's not the game's fault.
It's just that they suck and too dumb to understand how it works.
Yeah. My main problem with the game is that it's too difficult and even I know that's just me having a skill issue lmao
