This young man is digging this pond with a little 32 HP JD Tractor with a lifting capacity of about 1,100 lbs. it’s moving at a steady pace and the mounds of dirt are piling high. By the same token he could go out there with a shovel and wheelbarrow and do the same thing. It would take a long time but still could be accomplished. The other end of the spectrum he could get a massive Excavator and do the job in one afternoon. However It would be at a huge cost. He would rent it if he didn’t want to buy it, have it delivered by a Big Tractor Trailer assuming there was accessibility to the location. My point is this little Tractor is enough. When buying equipment count the time and cost you are willing to spend. Many Tractor buyers say they wish they had bought a bigger Tractor with more lift capacity and Horsepower. I know I have bought Three. I hate pulling the Track Loader or the 50 hp Tractor on the Interstate. This guy is enjoying his Tractor and moving mountains. Little is much when you take the extra time.
