Cool video! As a native Stockholmer I recognized most places and it's nice to see you had a fun time.... The girl's pronouncation of "Skansen" made me smile too with the added "k" in there for some reason, sounded so cute :')
Funny fact about the vasa ship. Gustav Vasa made a visit to the construction site when it was halfway done and thought it needed more canons since Sweden was renowned for their exceptionally good canons in the 1600's. So he decided to add an extra floor loaded with canons which ultimately made it top heavy and sank.
Thank you so much for your kind comment. We always have fun! Our first priority is to make sure we enjoy our holidays, vlogging always comes second, even if it means missing some moments.
How did you get in to "Gylldene freden".. its a historical place, highlited by "Strindberg" and royals "Prince Bertil" and "the swedish academy"! In anyway, its there Thursday peasoupe and panncakes that make them famouse by "Prince Bertil" and "The swedish academy"! In anyway is only "historicly".. for swedes and there is even better resturantes in "Gamla stan".. they say! However.. and if its not raining.. a "fika" at the royal courtyard with "Victoriacake" could comfort a bunch of tourists!
Freden isn't that posh/snobby or hard to get into. . It's the oldest ever-soley restaurant in the world, but hey, my old man used to sit there and drink and play the guitar with Cornelis back in the 70s. Just check in a day or two before you want to go, and they will most probably have a table open.
wow, it's an awesome vlog. keep it up
How does your channel not have 100k+ subscribers? The quality is of your videos is phenomenal!
Oh thank you! That is such a nice thing to say. Hopefully one day we are so lucky ☺️

We are so glad you liked our video (and our poor pronunciation) ☺️
Stockholm is a nice city to visit in summer. I really like the small boat ferries that work like busses. I the winter the city can be pretty grim.
We loved the little ferries! Sounds like we’ll need to revisit in winter to see the other side of Stockholm

Lol Gustav Vasa died more than 60 years before Vasa was built... You mean Gustavus Adolphus who was king at the time.
So interesting! Always hubris in the end!
Good video
Glad you liked it!
I live there. Hope you had a good time in ”venice of the north” 😊

It was reasonably easy to get into! We just booked the day before. Thank you for the extra history, and the tip for the Victoria Cake!

Everytime they pronounced a name of a place, I was like: "what a fancy name. I wonder what that means" 😂💀
Well as a swede I can tell you they were pretty far off but it's the thought that counts I guess😂
We tried our best =) we will have to keep practicing our Swedish!! Thanks for watching
Why dont you do this in the winter?
Would be a more accurate video.
/stockholmare
Lmao nah, let's not lure people here during the winter 😂
It’s an accurate video of a different season 🧐
This is very optimistic, Sweden is a low intensity country with typically no puls.
Thank you for your comment, we certainly enjoyed our weekend there.
Sweden is also a country.
@@jensclarberg6419 What do you mean?
@@HanzBergman "Sweden is a low intesnsity city"
