God Kenta has changed a lot and has moved up in the world. Personal story I would like to share actually it is a funny one as well. I had the honor to attend the ROH/NOAH seminar with Bryan Danielson (aka WWE Daniel Bryan) and Kenya from NOAH. I do believe this was Kenta first trip to the states at that time in June 2006. Two great friends of mine got me to go with them Drake and Dustin. The seminar was being held at the ROH DOJO at Bristol, PA (near New Jersey.) Kenta brought a translator cause his English wasn't very good, but man at that time he was pretty itimitatating cause of the way he carried himself. So they took us through drills, cardio, hitting the ropes. But near the end they showed us how to do side kicks. They had someone hold the kickbag while we kicked the bag. Kenta and Bryan showed us how to kick, so we all did it. So this kid came up excited to do this tried to kick the bag and he goes to kick the bag and he did this shimming like one of those hwannin dancers and he kicked. The place got died quite cause Kenta was getting pissed cause this kid did this like three times, the other people who attended the seminar were just snickering and Bryan was someone in the back behind the ring laughing to himself. So one more time said Kenta and same thing. That was it kid left the ring and Kenta said something to his translator. Bryan said is that how you kick, then the kid said yes. Holy Shit that place was quite cause that kid didn't get it and kept talking interrupting there teaching and he had to be dismissed cause of the lack of respect. That was a valuable experience for me at that time.
It would have been hilarious if Bryan and KENTA would have put this kid in their middle and started kicking the shit out of him...no wait, that would have been horrifying. I bet training with Bryan and especially KENTA was hard as shit, eh?
Well the kid got put in the middle of the ring and Kenta and Danielson made him hold the bag and kick the shit out of that bag. The kid said man my hand hurt
