Thanks! Didn’t realize it was so easy to pull the assembly out. I needed to adjust my headlight position as well as access the bumper attachment tabs to close a gap between them.
On the V70 -2011 there is a small plastic lock pin to get out the lampholder. obviously sometimes that plastic pin have too much plastic and will make it extremely hard to get off. you can't just pull the cables..

Good helpful video new to Volvo's so though best check first and this helped so only took 10 minutes to change the headlight bulbs

My Volvo V70 2005 does not come with these two large pins. These pins are later development. Sigh
I have just ran out to my 2005 v70 n found out the same thing.......bah!
