I got the previous Insta360 Flow gimbal, I returned it because it was a nightmare to handle in winter with gloves, and the battery died quickly, I was recording a Santa/Christmas parade in Toronto, and it didn't last half of the event. Making walking videos using the trigger to stay in position failed after a few blocks. Ended up buying a bigger and more robust gimbal, but the MagSafe adapter to hold the iPhone is very appealing
I had the Flow, and immediately upgraded to the Flow Pro as soon as it was announced due to all the new features. I didn't need to watch your sponsored video but I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. It's great that all this is available for only $150. It's a no-brainer for creators. Also, you're right about updates with iOS 18! I've been using it since the first beta and can confirm that the Flow Pro tracking even works in cinematic mode (including with the front camera) -- absolutely amazing tech.
As a European (UK) my wildlife knowledge is a bit more limited for the US, but based on the fact that you're in and around the San Francisco area, I'd say what you filmed was a bird
I appreciate the functionality here. I've been using an OG DJI Osmo with my iPhone 5 and iPhone SE 2nd gen since forever. This is teasing me as a really viable upgrade. I'll keep looking at it.
Just upgraded to the 16 Pro and I think this is perfect for what I'm looking to do. I'm curious if DJI will come out with someone as I had the Osmo 6 Mobile at one point when the 14 Pro first came out.
Finally making the MagSafe connection more useful, not just attaching an external battery or dumb wallet. I was SURE it would (eventually) become a high-speed data connection along with the power connection, to remove the need for the Lightning (now USB-C) “hole” in case. THAT hasn’t happened (yet), but this new capability is amazing. I didn’t know about it, so thanks… What I’d like to see are external lenses, with size and focal length to overcome the thinness limitations of iPhone’s built-in cameras, that attach to iPhone and connect with iOS through MagSafe. So it would be a true “pro” camera system that uses iPhone’s computing power, apps, display, and storage.
Does not like my current protective case on IPhone 14 Pro.. Any options? Works fine with case removed. I would buy a protective case made with magnetic mount. Considering buying accessory mount and modifying case if necessary.
Sure looks significantly more capable than Belkin’s tracking stand that’s been out for a while now - and at a comparable price. Liked the stupidly easy simple setup with DockKit Belkin’s stand had but the tracking was so jittery.
It's getting absolutely ridiculous! RUclips is becoming one big ad. It’s bad enough that I pay for RUclips Premium yet I still need to suffer through incessant advertising. Luke is getting worse and worse and it has gotten to the point where I don't even watch his stuff anymore. It’s really too bad…
Kind of off subject, but… It seems like every new product has a “Pro” version. I think Apple started this up sell marketing thing as my first Apple product was a MacBook Pro… Think about it, even Nissan has a “Pro” version of their pickup truck. I guess the rest of us are just “amateurs”.
This is a fantastic opportunity, but what about the rest of us who just can't afford to spend thousands of dollars for the latest iPhone? It would be really great to find about stuff that I could use for an iPhone 11 or 12.
It is very cool, but will it add to life or just take away more precious moments from friends and family while I play with a toy and make video tapes that no one will watch more than once?
lol so this is what all the social media admins at sport events run around with? Funny seeing the rise of use of iPhones instead of super expensive cameras in professional shoots. I guess the rise of TikTok & desire for “vertical” content helps
does the zoom wheel work with the native camera app on iphone ?
Thats a good question. For me with iOS 17.6.1 it doesn't work. Can anyone confirm that it works with iOS 18?
Not gonna lie: flow pro sounds like a period tracker app.
You are correct

Actually $150 isn’t that bad of a price considering what all it does. May have to look into it.

This might be my favourite video about the flow pro.. showed a lot of examples of each feature

Complete BS. Birds DO NOT exist.
Damn not gonna lie this thing actually does seem pretty cool, kind of expensive tho but it makes sense considering everything it does
How far forward can you bend?

Does this still have the "invisible selfie stick" feature?
Awesome piece of Tech. Can't wait to see where this goes
Does it work with phone cases? What about things like Moment lenses?

Where's the car channel link?
God damn it! I can't find one guy that's not bought off by this company
Luke… will this work with the Blackmagic Design Camera App?
Insta just keeps tech alive.
So youtube ads + in video sponsor spots weren’t enough? Now the whole video is an ad lol
Dudes gotta pay the bills.
I mean it looks like a really cool product to me I’m excited to learn more about myself anyways
It's funny how this pattern started after the great eBay exposé video... Luke, blink twice if you need help!! 🤣🤣🤣

Cool video
Never put a price on your praise, dude.

Usually I don't dig on advertisement vids but this is a product that I'd actually use.
what was the voice change 😭
i think it’s from the actual apple developer video on their channel

Score on being sponsored with this product! I hope you’re making some money!! 🎉
Nice promo. This is something I'd never use, but it sure does look great!
I didn't pecco Bagnaia was a tech reviewer too😂
That bird was a kite
It is very cool, but will it add to life or just take away more precious moments from friends and family while I play with a toy and make video tapes that no one will watch more than once?
Sadly the latency makes me sea sick
Saw this about a month ago on zollotech death of a channel
Good info! Thanks!!
Not gonna lie but I'm not gonna lie. No lies!
Well, guess we know what technology Samsung will be "borrowing" next.
Sweet🎉
And absolutely hell no! I'm not going to pay for an external device when I can hold the phone with my hands.

This video FLOPPED fam 😢

He does look like the shamwow infomercial guy
And yet he keeps gaining subscribers.
I dunno, kinda like the product and wouldn’t really have known about it otherwise. Might actually buy one now.

I will never buy a gimbal where my 1000+€ device is secured by magnets only. It’s so unbearable stupid that they don’t make that mechanism optional
Probably costs about 500 dollars knowing apple
Not an Apple product, just relies on new iOS features (DockKit). Where I live in Europe it's 159 Euro (about 175 $) on Amazon.
@@BilisNegra I know it's not. You telling me they have no influence directly or indirectly on how companies price their products for use with apple
