Also I hope it’s not like VR Chat or Meta Horizons where everything is a separate instance. I am wanting one shared world where everywhere is reachable by either physically going there or using teleport portals to get there. Any location that is tied to a video game could be accessed by physically going to an arcade. Any moving could be accessed by going to a theater. I love the idea of having an economy tied to the real world that can be used as a source of income. Going back to the one world seamless zones idea, with Star Citizen’s server meshing technology coming online later this year, I could see their technology be used for an OASIS style of experience that could make this sort of thing possible.
I am excited. Investing in ROOT would be wise, a layer 1 coin check, new check, interesting check, fully doxed leadership check, creator is on board check, hige partnerships like fifa and WB check, seems like a homerun.
Doesn’t a subscription model go against everything Haliday stood for? lol! It’s not the true OASIS with subscription models and advertisements in 80% of a players viewing area without inducing seizures.
