Combo seems redundant , at any part of the game , even for this to be viable , you will have to lane with two of your supports in the offlane (where axe goes as a pos3) , your better off with a Venomancer Q and axe's battle hunger , but other than that , giving axe more armor/tankiness will be good.

the wards get destroyed when axe gets hit, so it's an anti synergy with his passive
