    He looks fantastic! 86 years old and don't look any older than late 50's or Early 60's. I could listen to him talk for hours. Thank you for posting all these panels.

    For an 86 year old man, he still seems to have his wits about him. I hope he keeps them well into his 90s.

    He has to be one of the best storytellers of all time. Also - I think you could put Shatner in charge of any ship in the world and he would captain it like Kirk would. Tons of common sense!!

    Heather, you're awesome for sharing this with all of us. Like may others, we simply don't have the time or resources to attend all the Trek conventions, especially the one in Vegas. You gave us a nice seat to the events, too!

    Bill also played a Capt. Harrison Byers, in a great morality play in 1961. It was a classic movie called "Judgement at Nuremberg" starring Spencer Tracy. Shatner's role was not terribly large as the aide assigned to Spencer Tracy's Judge character, but it is a great movie and interesting to see him in it. Even in a smaller role, as a junior officer (Army Capt. = Navy or Starfleet Lt.) but you can see traces of Captain Kirk in Captain Byers.

    Glad I found this cause I wasn't sure I had actually heard the James Bond question from the audience. Shatner's response was perfect. Reminded me of his infamous Saturday Night Live bit.

    You'd think they'd know by now that having a "moderator" with Shatner is wasting space... just hand him the mic and get out of the way!

    • @Bill_Woo
      @Bill_Woo 7 лет назад +2

      The moderator did his job as well as anyone could ask for. He balanced and set off just fine. What's amazing is that Shatner - fairly unique among men - CAN actually take a stage alone and just be interesting without help. But this is great too.

      I know, he's NUTS!
      The nutty ones are always interesting.
      I can imagine he has his bad days -- and that's where his Trek castmates hate his guts -- but man is the guy interesting when he's off on a rant. Way, way more interesting than Captain Kirk then!

    Hypothetically, suggest that we start a think tank with scientists who solve problems of environment, politics, economic issues, would it be possible that William Shatner and the other Star trek Team would be interested to participate with this organization to change the word in a positive sense?? America should be an example, but politics right and left are so far away from reality that somethings has to change! why do I say this??!! Because, I can and I want do something about this issue but, I can not do this alone. are actors clever enough to see an OPPORTUNITY??? Are they worthy of this task and or do they not believe in their self???? That is the big question.
