You're right Reese, beaver are amazing engineers. I hate their destruction here but can't keep from admiring their skill. Chewing off a tree, just enough and then waiting for the wind to be in the right direction to drop it where they want it. Only thing that amazes me as much is watching the eagles remodel their nest each fall. Looks like lumberjacks been in the area.
A belated Happy Thanksgiving greeting to the entire Iver family and all their hired hands. Without them, the wheels would not roll as easily as they do.
Beavers are like a doubled edged sword. Out in the wilds the dams/ponds they build can be a great asset for other creatures, in around people they can be a real problem.
Hope you guys had a good Thanksgiving Looks like they are paying alot more for beaver than when I was trapping them, The mat to go over the pits they do work great, hope you have a good week next week hauling grain,
I understand y'all 'slow down' in the winter, but a cool vid idea might b having George and Eli discuss/compare their military experience, if Eli's home around holiday? 🤔 Just an idea, that other veterans might appreciate/find interesting 🤷🏿♀️
Ya there is always lots of work to do on the farms land management tileing tree trimming ditching putting equipment away never a dull moment men of all trades
Hey Reese, love to see you doing some beaver trapping. If you're ever looking to learn some more 330maniac has some good trapping content but it looks like you got it handled!
2 piece clutch brake suck they seem to eat tabs off that lock it to input shaft. There are so many different styles to them and I've many that break flipping clutch brake off input shaft. This is biggest issue in most cases if you're eating clutch brakes up you have clutch problem. Clutch not wanting to release or dragging just plain mis-adjusted see many of them too. Clutch brake should last just as long as clutch does
Be careful setting those traps. They look all too dangerous. One little slip and one BIG hurt. Now I am wondering what kind of traps my grandson is using.
Has George made it south for winter yet . Hope he stays safe
And has a great time.
Very well deserved !!!!!
I'd like to see Reese make a beaver hat, then wear it while he's trucking this winter!! 😆
HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!!!

As a kid never saw any beaver, it was a state law maybe federal law not to mess with them.Because of that there everywhere now. There a problem.
