@PrinceOfDarkness1975 still testing. Ghost didn't like these tires. Put it in my other car and we are past a month and it still looks great and cleans up great.
Thanks for the video! I like the applicator you used but can’t find a plastic-lined tire applicator on Amazon. Could you share where you bought it? Thanks!
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa Thanks! Detailed Image was sold out. House of Rags only carries the thin applicator pads. The Autofiber website had lots of issues for setting up an account, which required me to use Google Chrome rather than my usual DuckDuckGo browser. GEEZ! They were also sold out of small quantity purchase of those application pads, but I was able to purchase a dozen of them, which should keep me stocked for a while. I have been using the hexagon foam pads, but they suck up CarPro Dark Side like crazy. Thanks again!
That blue hue reminds me of the original Optimum long term tire sealant about 5 years ago when it came out. Several of those first long term tire sealants had that same noticeable blue hue color to it. I wonder if that isn't a chemical ingredient that makes it a longer lasting dressing? Not sure, but it's interesting it has that same blue hue. Darkside is my current dressing.
@@Andresthebigkat It may be, i'm not sure, but I have used a couple of the supposedly "longer term" dressings over the past couple years and they all had that same bluish hue to them and two of them failed in the exact same way, having flaked really badly and just looked horrible after a couple days. They were a bear to get back to a presentable condition too. So far DARKSIDE from CarPro has been working pretty well for me. I have layered it after a while just to "refresh" the appearance because I was too lazy to do a full and complete strip off of the old dressing. So far I haven't seen any flaking or failure of the dressing yet. I have been pretty happy with Darkside so far.
Hey bro, great video. What kind of durability did you get on Ghost? Ty.

Can you reapply ghost over existing coating or u have to remove any previous coating on the tire?
@jgz79 has to be clean and dry virgin rubber with no dressings or coatings

@@Andresthebigkat it's not like duracoat at all
A lot of companies call that blue hue a “tracer” whether it’s beneficial or not idk but that’s what I’ve gathered from others
Good vid! I’m excited to try it.
Ben GOD bless you Iam first 😂
