Thinking of getting an XFR 2011 (facelift) but it has a very low resolution back up camera. Could you replace that with this? This back up camera seems a much better resolution.

The rear camera has the guidance lines but it's so low res that I'd almost rather use the parking aid (the XFR has the same Bosch 6.5 inch infotainment system as in this video). So a new camera is definitely in order.
You most likely have a broken LIN bus wire in the flexible cable that goes up to the boot lid. The rear bcm on the side next to the battery is where the bus originates from, it talks to the main ecu via CAN bus, which gets it's input from the control box on the steering rack. You are looking at the white wire that comes from the second pin in from the right on the bottom row of the right hand connector at the bottom of the bcm. Bet you a tenner it's broken in teh flexi part of the cable.

Hi guys. I have the 13 model and started thus morning no problem ate all. Popped in the shop come back out and the airbag alarm went off and the rear camera came up no camera plus parking sensors. Please advise me Ian
The camera we used to film? It’s one of the best cameras we use. It’s a NikonD5300. That video was recorded at 1080p 50FPS. Watching it back, the quality is superb.

In my 2015 Jaguar XF I don’t have guided lines in reverse is there a settings or I need to upgrade the camera

you need to buy yourself a decent camera terrible quality
If you're referring to the camera fitted to the vehicle, it's one of the best out there. It's the Jaguar GEN3 Screen letting it down.
