Tekla Structures - Ribbon Customization 2021

The UI overhaul in Tekla 2016 brought the new ribbon interface along with the ability to customize it to your needs. Since then the customization dialog has gone through some changes, so we're taking a look at how to customize your ribbon and create a custom command in Tekla Structures 2021.

Odd that you guys still don't have icons for everything hard-coded into Tekla. Software where you not only get to customize your icons, but you have to because it doesn't offer an icon.

Hello, Is there a way to show the value of the specific advanced option?

I want to be able to change the colors of the icons on the ribbon. It looks like a grey rainy boring day.

Hi Tony, you can load whatever images you want for the buttons through the ribbon editor. We just unfortunately do not offer color icons for you to use.
