@chrishenry9540 it is what it is. It'll be around 500 because of shipping if I go with Daniel. But I'm gonna have 9999 male me more stuff, so I'll probably have them cut it off and put an S clasp on . Use the box lock as melt in my other peaces. Save 500 and don't take any more risk. Rather, use 500 towards a stock that I like that's super cheap right now.
You could saw it off and get it cast into a sleek lock by casters specificaly for jewellery, then go to your local jeweler and get them to piece it together. Would maybe cost you about 100-200$ and almost no loss in material. Thats what my casters charge per cast, about 200$ but im pretty sure its cheaper in the US (you could also cast it into the same lock but a perfected version, or any other lock)
@kyokushin2229 I like the box lock. With shipping and labor new walls. 400-500. Or when I order more from 9999 , I'll have them put a S clasp and extra gold to my other items. Just anyoing that he brags about his work and can't even Solder lol

I recently watched Gus's latest video and couldn't resist leaving feedback in regards to your order from HIM. However, it seems he wasn't as thrilled with the feedback as I expected. In fact, he ended up deleting some of his own comments, as well as several from other viewers that were left in response. It was quite a scene, and honestly, I found it pretty amusing! 😂😂😂 You all should definitely check it out!
@billysproger690 nothing with it yet. Just left as is. All my money are in Leap call contracts , the market is in a melt up. So I'm just doing that. When I get my next chain. I'll have it fixed or do a S clasp. Thanks for asking.
After watching the entire video I think that I'd be pretty hurt if I was in your shoes. Paying all that money and having such a high expectation only to get a piece that isn't as good as everybody else's would make me feel cheated and used. The links do look great, but the bracelet sits terribly and that would drive me nuts. I really hope you find a solution that brings the happiness that you deserve with a piece like this. Thank you for the eye opening review.
@JayBirdNJ. I had zero expectations... just don't fuck it up. Do what you say you can do. ... he did not do what he said he would do. So the video shows the craftsmanship you get from him. I got griffted. It is what it is.
If he’s not willing to remake it fuck that man I would take it to someone else and see how much they would charge to fix it that’s not very good craftsmanship I wouldn’t be happy either especially spending that much with them I wouldn’t spend no more with them
@stereotypical2650 it's 500 to fix , becasue of shipping. But I'm gonna see if I can just cut it off and do a S clasp and use that extra gold to me next chain with 9999. Yea, gus is con
@DRays813 they did not offer that. I would have, if so. He offered to shave it ( keep the gold ) or a refund and I would lose gold value and pay a Restocking fee.
@getem-chi8321 Yea, I found 2 bad customer reviews after. Then, one of his boys. Bixtrox or something, I don't know how to spell the name. Did a review gold over silver and was talking shit about the boxlock job and goes. Thank god it's not solid gold, lol.
He needs to fix the box lock at his own expense, i cannot see how it is even a discussion. No other reputable jeweller would do this and not fix it . @CS-cs7gt his fix was - refund. I lose gold value and restock fees. So -1,750. Another solution was to shave it down , so I lost 4-6g's of gold, and he kept the gold. Wtf. Dude, I’m not going to lie. This made me quit watching his videos! I’ve never made a purchase with him. I’m pretty dedicated to who I buy from, but this is just shotty! I really don’t understand how they gave you that bracelet in confidence! You definitely are not being too picky when you pay a premium, you have certain expectations, if they can’t meet those expectations there’s a problem! at least you got it in 24 karat, and you have that gold weight
@TheGunSmith614 I collect coins. So I always have weight, lol. It doesn't matter if it is 14-24k. You still are paying a premium.. the weight will always be there. It could be 20mm 14k with the same amount of gold. Due to his shit work. It has zero resale value. it's worth scrap and -10% spot. He said he looked it over and thought it was good. The guy is a grifter. Thanks 😊
I personally wouldn’t care that much to be honest but that’s just me I think small imperfections give it character and if I wanted something perfect I’d get a machine made one from Italy.
@lukeand98 you pay a premium to have it made even. Are you gonna purchase a house on an angle ? Or would that be just charter, too? If I paid bullion price, I wouldn't care or scrap price. I paid 3k for someone who said they can do a correct job. Maybe it's just me. My car doesn't have frame damage, but if I want a discount on one. I'll get one with a savage title. Would you buy this in a store ? I would not. I can't even sell it at spot later on in life. It's melt value peace, because of that 2mm. It's like buying a watch with *no papers * you never do that, unless it's before 2004. Then it's OK. Because you lose 10-30% value on the watch / no papers. Ect ect ect.
@@MehhhBushka hey man I’m just saying I think it still looks awesome, I’m sorry you’re not happy with it though I hope you’re able to resolve the issue. @lukeand98 @lukeand98 Thanks. Yea, I don't care about imperfections but solder / welding. If I got it at auction or a scrap pile. I wouldn't care. The fact I paid and got that. O well. I don't even wear my stuff. Being single and every lady is looking for a meal ticket 🎟, I go for the homeless vibe. How's the 18k look? 2030 8-11k oz. The asset must don't know about.
@ yeah I feel you, I guess if they were a small family business that said they would try their best and you got that but didn’t pay as much for labour it would be okay, but if they tell you they can make it perfect and they charge you for perfect then it should have been what you paid for. The 18k is nice bro, I’ve got a 18k Cuban with nugget feature links and a custom nugget box lock. And a 22k gold nugget pendant to go with it. I wear my stuff a lot so I prefer 18-22k for strength even though 24 has the best colour and density. And as for the ladies find a woman who doesn’t give a crap about gold or silver so she doesn’t try to pull one on you.
i thought he was good obviously for watching his videos he will show us what he wants us to see. but this just changes everything, i was actually thinking of buying from him. now i know i wont lol, with that customer service i don't think anyone will want to deal with him specially if he just dumped you after spending 10k, what can i expect if i buy a regular 2k 3k chain? he's not gonna care for sure.
@juanmontano6105 yea. Him and his 4 cunban chain chain channels show product that they haven't paid for that he lends out. He offered a refund ( 10% restcok fee + gold up and that was a day after I got the bracelet.. I would lose 1,750. He offered to shave it flat. I would lose 3.5-6 grams of 24k gold ) he Neverr offered to recdo the sides. Daniel told me he can put new sides on and make it even ......... he says you pay for premium work, lol my ass. He told me I should be happy with the links. Man, I got handmade boots, fewer flaws than this. But he's a Grifter- pushing lab stones, silver over gold, and 950 silver .. what 950. I can go on Etsy and have a .9999 silver cuban made. So then it will be at least worth scrap. Lol.
@juanmontano6105 Thanks for the positive 🙏 Freed bacl. My videos are to show what real ppl get when they spend around 10k. He charged. SPOT + 28% SO. That's. Total price gold * times * 1.28 = gus price. Do *times * 1. ( number of percent 5 10 20, ect ) to equal your out the door price. So when you shop around , ask the precent they will charge you on k* and grams # of good you wanna use. ... if your only spending 3k. Get a 1oz bange from apmex. And stack those over time. I put a video up of them.
@Johngottisentme thats my point for my video. I spent 10k on bracelet, told him. If it came out good, I would purchase 3 more items. Thank god I didn't.. I spent another 10k with .999 for that ancor chain. And will be doing another bracelet 33g necklace 100g and 2 17g rings. From probably. 9999. Jewelr and have them cut the f Ed boxlock off and put a S clasp on.
@mcboosting1273 even if he didn't charge a 10% fee. Gold price moves. So a refund would be gram24k weight *times* 28% manufacturing cost = refund. Or just redo the box lock correctly, ect ect. He offered to shave it down, lol. And what? Keep the extra gold. Yea, ok. The guy is shity.
@gabe408sj Gus said he could do it. He also said that he used less k* gold the the lock. If that's the case. Then he grifted more money from me. Because I payed for 96 , came 94 and if the box is 21k then I'm around 90g of 24k. It was a rookie mistake on the solder job.. one side is even. The other side is way off
@@MehhhBushka Thats even more ridiculous wtf. he grifted you by using less k gold on the lock (to make it easier for him i assume) and its STILL shiitty like that?? hell no
@billysproger690 if you say you can make a cuban and a box lock. Then, they should be able to solder. I have not gotten it tested. But he first said he would use a les *k on the boxlock. If so, that is for the strength. Regardless, that would not affect the amature hour box lock. It's a solder. It's an even line. It's not rocket science, lol. Yea and I paid for 96g, then that got changed to 94g, and if the box lock is 21k, then he shaved acouple $$$ more in his pocket... it is what it is. 🤷 that's why I told him 96g to make up the difference of the purity, so I would have 3 Troy Oz's. 🙄 ooo well. I had it planned out and went with him because he said he could do the job and brags about it on youtube. Meh meh meh. 😐
@LxTxSURGE true. I told him I didn't need a polish. Also ordered 96g , he gave 94g and 120bucks back. Wtf. Then, on the solder job, he told me to send it back so he buff/ over polish that spot to slim I'd down, in tr stead of redoing the solder. That would be 4-6g of 24k lost, lol. Grifter.
@BillJenkins-q8r when I talked to him again , he said that offer was of the table. That would net a 2k loss to me. Yea, I'm gonna have it fixed when I get the funds to so. It really sucks. Rather, I have just added more coins to my stack instead of this..
@TheGunSmith614 yea. I just haven't been out to get it tested. If a company uses a fake stamp. That's big lawsuits. Plus I have 24k stuff. The color dents scratches is correct.
@@MehhhBushka either leave it alone or change the lock. It's very soft gold and I never polish my gold it takes off a little every time you do that. And those locks over time can lose tension on the tongue side. If it long enough just slip it over your head to take it on and off.
@jzavala366 and he uses 925 950 silver. Not pure .999 silver. You can get .999 silver cubans hand made from etsy. You want pure, so at least you will have melt value :) 10oz .999 silver should make a 23in 10mm chain. At today's price you would have at least 300 in .999 silver. As melt value

I think you’d be way too picky. I would never notice that in 1 million years plus because it’s 24 karat it’s gonna get scuffed and dented to hell in about a week on a bracelet. I think you’re just over analyzing stuff and you can’t make a box lock in 24 karat cause it would lose tension after like a day
@josephmandarino2199 they make it under k* it's a solder job that's wrong. That's because of an unskilled employee/ rushed. Picky for something that is not even ? Well they got one side correct, so I guess that's OK. They tried.
@ima_robot91 dam yea. He kept telling me *it's a preference thing, not a issue * then why is one side even and the other not. Man, what a grifter. 3k to have it made. Likes a 400.00 job at best.
@@MehhhBushka so it’s a preference to want the jewelry you paid 3k for to look good? @ima_robot91 yup. You pay a certain amount for a product. I would only purchase this at *spot price* rather have coins then a *rushed job. Well, now ppl will see what they can get. So it's toss up with gus. He messed up two 10k projects, crazy. Won't last long, with ppl not having income and gold starting a run to 8-12k oz 2030.
@PhiloTheGod a lot of ppl. He makes videos of him making chains 24k. Brags, he's the best. Clearly, it's an amature hour when it comes to doing a solder job.
Man, I might be retarded- but I just dont see how its that bad. I have a Daniel Jewelry 10mm bracelet and a Lirys 13mm bracelet and I feel like they both look the same. And the box locks always fall under my wrist. For 24k gold and what you paid I think you have every right to question the manufacturer but im just not seeing how its a terrible job. Let me know if Im crazy!! I have all my pieces on my YT page, 14k tho not 24k. I swear they all got flaws lol. I would be more concerned with the box locks itself holding tension over this!!
@jjax633 it's angled up 2mm on a solder job. That's like buying shoes and one is a size 9 and other is 9.5. Or a shirt wear the length is 27in on L and angles down 28in on R. Are your shelfs in your house even ?? Do you purchase a car with a straight frame? Or do you go for frame damage, for a discont? Did they lay your roof properly? Or do you water coimg in.
@jjax633 I seen your video. Solders look even.. Are they even on one side and 2-3mm angled up not even on the other?? That's my problem. Poor craftsmanship/ quiltycontrol and his only fix was a refund , that I lose 1,750 or he shaves it down and I lose 4-6g 24k gold. So he profits on his F up. Dianle said he could fix it. It's the walls that have to redone.
@jjax633 flaws are OK. It's had made. A solder job that's not even / leveled is bad Craftsmanship. If you had 10k in pocket and seen this in person. Would you purchase it, with that issue ? It's only worth scrap, unless fixed.

@MehhhBushka brother, with all due respect there's picky and flat out unacceptable. Not trying to make you feel worse than you already do but he 100% needs to eat this as a loss and do the right thing. Gonna keep this in mind next time someone asks about him
@rickybobby5161 He did offer a shave. A refund ( site says 10% restock ) . Buy the time I texted him back. He said it's off the table because it was 7 days. But his site says 10 days. I stated to him that I did not want a shave nor a refund. Just for him to make correct. It is what it is. I tried to watch all the cuban videos out there, and he kept popping up with 24k chains, stating he can do the job. Shit happens in the house, and you fix in house, before it gets sent out. Anyways. Thanks 😊 for the feedback.
Brother or u could hit him up send it back and talk otp instead of making videos u ever thought ab that if u did well he must not have Cared ab yo order to much 😂

@erod235 so I spent 2,800 dollars over spot to have gus make it. Now, if you see a piece of jewelry with a solder job that bad in person. Would you buy it like that. ??? I would bet you wouldn't. If you paid for braces or got your lady a boob job. Would you like straight teeth and same cup breast? Maybe you're that guy with 3 tires full air pressure, with one flat and riding that way. I also use stud finder and level when I'm doing work in my house. I guess shoty work is what you enjoy. Best of luck with that. Definitely go with Gus, then.

@erod235 big boy price is hand made. A bad solder job is due to a lack of effort or new to the job. You can't get 20k-24k in the machine. I paid over the big boy price at 28% for a quitly job. Peaces like this are 22% over. Dropping 10k on a chain. You expect good craftsmanship. I never asked for a discount, and I asked him to redo it/ fix the boxlock. He refused that. @chrishenry9540 you should make a new video. Titled this is how a Daniel box lock looks on 22k. Lol. Screw Gus the grifter
Just anyoing that he brags about his work and can't even Solder lol
i'd pissed if i paid 10k for that and got told "get over it"
would rather get an asian 23/24k chain
@consumer1073 yea. I'm either gonna fix the boxlock or when I put in my next order with ....... there said they would put a S* clasp on it. But I like the boxlock, so it's tricky. I just 💯 % the ...... company won't mes up tho. It's like peace of mind.
@@MehhhBushka maybe hire a good company to melt the lock and remake it? youll lose cash no matter what sadly unless you melt the lock and make an S clasp yourself
@consumer1073 ...... said he can fix it and make it even. . ........ said they can add a S clasp. So I gotta decide what I wanna do. I'm gonna have .9999 make some more stuff in January. I just like the boxlock. So it sucks. Or save the cash and live it. It's just so ugly and stands out. I learned my listen.

I’m perplexed that he didn’t offer to fix it for free. Hell I can fix that without losing any gold in the process. 🤦♂️
@michaelwagner8842 he told me it would bend down over time lol that doesn't fix the solder job. Plus I only wear jewelry like 4 times in a year ... Just to * flex * at my watch AD , when I go in. Lol , to piss them off. Yea a Shave ( loss gold ) was his fix. And je keeps the gold lol. Wtf. Daniel said he can redo the walls for around 200ish , but then you add shipping and thats around 4-500. So I'm just waiting.
Why are they doing box lock with 24k? They should of just made an "S" clasp, more easier to operate especially at 24k.
Reys Gold is AMAZING - Their customer service and quality is top notch
@shastylesdesign thanks to late for me. I don't have that kind of money to purchase 24k Cubans from everyone... hopefully, someone will see your post..

I recently watched Gus's latest video and couldn't resist leaving feedback in regards to your order from HIM. However, it seems he wasn't as thrilled with the feedback as I expected. In fact, he ended up deleting some of his own comments, as well as several from other viewers that were left in response. @AccentBwoy how. When you deal with gold and stuff like this. It's bank wires.
After watching the entire video I think that I'd be pretty hurt if I was in your shoes.

@lamontgray6015 I talked to them. It's about 400-500 to fix Gus poor job
Easy solution. Send it back and they should make a new one same size and weight. No charge. Top notch customer service. Simple
@DRays813 they did not offer that. I would have, if so. He offered to shave it ( keep the gold ) or a refund and I would lose gold value and pay a Restocking fee.

@DRays813 thanks. Yea, he said I was to picky. Wtf. Now ppl can see what you get , when you order and not to believe his videos. Thanks.
I was about to buy from gus but this just made me look elsewhere. Dodged a bullet thanks.
I recommend Daniel’s jewlery inc for anything in the future i have several pieces made by them always fix their mistakes in rare instances they have some. Good luck
@CS-cs7gt his fix was - refund. I lose gold value and restock fees. So -1,750. Another solution was to shave it down , so I lost 4-6g's of gold, and he kept the gold. Wtf. Dainel said he could fix it by redoing the walls. With shipping, that will cost 400-500. I don't wanna lose gold, tho. Nor wasit money. Damn, sorry this happened to you, now I know not to go with for my handmade Cuban.
They should offer you a new chain since how bad they messed it up!!!
That's why I posted. All his videos are BS. He pretty much refused to redo it.. he offered to shave it, and he keeps the gold ? Lol. There is a refund, and there is a 10% restock fee. Plus, at that time, gold went up. So I would lose 1,750 dollars. It made no sense. He explained to me, I'm too picky.
@@MehhhBushka Yeah that's some real BS.. So sorry too hear about your situation tho man.

@shaz4179 those springs aren't me. It doesn't fit my style. Thanks 😊 tho
Thanks 😊
No hate just an opinion, but that lock looks like total dog shit. Dents scratches crooked not cool man especially for what you paid ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@ryancarson4528 that's why I posted it. To show you what GUS really sends out. His video are hyped lies. Trust me. I know it looks like shit
@lukeand98 24k is hand-made. No Italy machine bs, other wise I would have sourced that.
@@MehhhBushka hey man I’m just saying I think it still looks awesome, I’m sorry you’re not happy with it though I hope you’re able to resolve the issue.

Wear your gold in good health my man, take care.
Glad I read this comment. Was about to buy a 2.8 k chain
@Johngottisentme thats my point for my video. I spent 10k on bracelet, told him. If it came out good, I would purchase 3 more items. Thank god I didn't.. Looks like defect should be exchanged for a new one or full refund with no fee.
This is why you never see box locks on 24k gold jewelry 😂😂 it’s always a S clasp never box lock rookie mistake
The other side is way off
@@gabe408sj also Gus advertises he can do 24k Cubans with boxlocks.

@billysproger690 if you say you can make a cuban and a box lock. Then, they should be able to solder. I have not gotten it tested. But he first said he would use a les *k on the boxlock. @MehhhBushka 24k gold is just ugly period & soft 😂 but to each is own
@PhiloTheGod it's not soft. .9999 silver is softer. Even on a soft medal. You should be able to solder evenly...
@jjax633 flaws are OK. It's had made. A solder job that's not even / leveled is bad Craftsmanship. If you had 10k in pocket and seen this in person. Would you purchase it, with that issue ? It's only worth scrap, unless fixed.
