I admit that I am very much biased towards UK Yacht manufacturers but until viewing your channel I didn’t realise that Pearl Yachts are also UK based. This Pearl 80 and the Pearl 95 that you have also featured are as you say fine ships. Not only are they beautiful from the outside but with Kelley Hoppen interior designs for me they are well ahead in the UK interior game. It is great that there is a choice of interior design styles but still able to be bespoken to your own specification. It is great to see that Pearl provide crew quarters that are not a lot different from the owner’s choice of finishes which is to be commended. For a mid-size yacht, they are best in class and reviewed by a best in class presenter. Thank you, Nick.

I think this is my favourite layout of all the (now many) yachts I've seen on your channel. Light, airy, great galley and snug positions up at the front so you get light, open plan living but separation when needed. Very nice indeed!

What an excellent yacht! So refreshing to see a boat that actually treats its crew properly with a far more equivalent and respectful level of materials and workmanship. Love the satin finish over the typical high-gloss you see on most yachts of this caliber. Very welcoming design and layout, and getting to see the sea trial was a superb treat.

I've been on the Pearl 80 on the last Düsseldorf boat show and I have to say it impressed me more than every Princess, Sunseeker or Ferretti. When you look behind the scenes you will discover a better built quality than all her competitors in this class. And everything for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately they are building only few yachts per year. Thanks Nick for sharing this with us.

  • @TomRoyce

As someone who had a 100-ton license back in the 80s, it blows my mind that you can have an 80-foot yacht that can handle like that. My experience in that sized boat was long wide turns at low speeds, or very unhappy passengers.

I've watched a lot of your videos and a lot of other yachting videos, and surprisingly, I find that my favorite 70-80' yacht is this one, and my favorite 85-95' yacht is the pearl 95. And they are quite a bit less expensive than the usual like yachts. I suppose it is because of the stigma of Chinese manufacturing, but they were designed by British designers, come with a 5 year bow to stern warranty, and, did I mention- are cheaper to buy!. Once I save up my spare five mil (I'm aiming for the 95), I'll put my order in. Thanks for the great tour!

You look to have enjoyed being "at the helm", like a cat who got the cream. 😊

i don't even have the money for the anchor, but isn't 3.1 million a steal for this yacht?

That's base price. They have options too. So probably cost a lot more

to give you an idea for relevance, there are some 60ft yachts that are around $4m. This seems to be a good deal for something around 80'

WAUW!!...iv seen u on some much much more expensive ships, but this one takes the price! There was not ONE single detail i did not like on it. And the design of all of the furniture is absolutely amazing! And then a Jacuzzi on the fly....omg! You normally only see that on the huge ships. Im in love. Gonna have to watch this video 10-20 times more during the week haha.

REALLY loved the interior of this one. Maybe it’s the satin finish on everything; really nice
