This truly feels like watching kpop fans grow into kpop idols its so cool to see and to think about how many people are motivated after seeing thise group race and skin color cannot stop you from achieving your dreams
im okay with this group because they actually sing in english. im sorry but groups like blackswan are cringe Koreaboos since they sing in Korean and none of them are Korean. At least this group does have a Korean member, and i like it that they're not forcing to sing in Korean because this song would have been hella cringe if they did sing in Korean. idc about foreigners wanting to be in a group and be idols but just dont try to be another race. Meaning that your're White/Hispanic/Black but yet your're singing in Korean and acting like your're an Asian like no boo your're not a Korean idol

An English girl group is something I never knew I needed. It makes me feel so good to watch these girls. It’s a whole different kpop experience and I’m so grateful to them and the staff and JYP

Let's be honest they are probably really nervous as it's their first time doing all of this. People aren't straightforward and can't be 'categorized' into introvert and extrovert as people change all the time as they grow.
I guarantee you will see different attitudes from each member as they get more confident or lose confidence.
I really HATE how this generation is obsessed with putting everyone into rigid boxes and personality types - why do you have to label everything and everyone?! People are far more complex than that!

This group gives best friend group vibes and I'm so in for it! Also Savanna or Lexi would be such a great leader, their personality fit that grouprole so well.

The hate is due to the fact that her singing is heavily autotuned and below average when compared to the other girls. And an even bigger reason for dislike is jyp favouring her so obviously. They should definitely tone down the hate, she's a minor, but at the same time, people like talent.

@@SolitudesSouvenirs "people like talent". Well Kendall is talented. In my opinion she has the best stage presence and is the best dancer after Savanna and Lexi. All the girls are still improving and she has the potential to improve. I feel like any music bank/inkigayo performance shows why she should have debuted.

yeah i felt the same way. i heard she got bullied for some reasons and maybe that affected her to a certain degree. i hope other members to take good care of her
@@donlee4105 she was bullied horribly when she first started singing, she was stalked and harassed by an adult woman in her community for over a year and it eventually got so bad her and her family had to move out of texas. as someone who was following her music since before A2K i saw how bad it really got. the fact that shes still able to get back up after what happened to her makes her such a huge inspiration to me, even though im a couple years older than her, she has bravery i will never have and i want to always protect that!

This was so refreshing to see. I feel like you could feel the nerves of the group in their first few videos where they had to be filmed and interact with each other, but this video they seemed to be having so much fun with each other! I’m excited for the future of this group 😊😊

It's the most natural and legitimate K-pop reaction video I've ever seen, it's not like 'I'm an idol, I have to pretend I'm perfect', here it was the reaction and joy of teenagers. The cultural difference is noticeable, they do not appear to be what they are not, there is no superior or inferior.

Gina was my bias during A2k.
But now actually i feel this is really a good team, and a good decision.
Their personalities and character is a good match.
Savanna is so low key but her personality is slowly coming out, and she is such a good member to have in the team. And her vocals is soooooo much better now.
JYP mentioned before trajectory, and not location - it means he is more concerned about what he envision they will become in the future, and not their skills even now.
I do agree that, in terms of the future development, these 6 will continue to evolve.
Gina is really good but she seems to be stuck in her place since a long time ago - she has been doing this for a long time even before JYP, and she has always been doing things that are very matured for her age, since a very young age.
So she is no a blank sheet of paper, or somebody with the versatility to be shaped to suit the direction of the group.
She also had almost no improvement during the whole A2k.
Now looking back, she is definitely good for her solo, but in this group, she likely will deviate further and further as the whole group grows, matures and evolves in concepts, while she continues to be stuck in her own mould. Unfortunately this was the signal she gave to JYP throughout A2k.
As for Christina, since halfway, I have a certain hunch that her character evaluation will not come back well. And i strongly believe that she was dropped at the end when JYP heard the strong sentiments from the trainers who felt that she had issues in that area.
Thus he repeatedly said, that he couldn't force the decision, as the evaluations came from everwhere.
The trainers raised enough red flags about her attitude during training and thats sufficient for JYP not to take the risk, for the good of the group.
I have my own observations about her behaviour during the entire show but it is not necessary to mention it further here. It is not to attack her.
Eventually this group may not be the most exciting as it could be, but it is stable and reliable, and prob can be shaped much more closely as a uniform identity along the direction of the company.
this is very in line with JYP's philosophy of long term growth.
Its a marathon, not a sprint, as JYP said himself again.
Found someone with a brain, finally. People can't seem to understand why these were picked and Gina/Cristina weren't. JYP and the staff saw everything themselves, they knew where Gina was. Maybe they've seen that she's not improving on things they wanted her to, maybe something happened behind the scenes that we don't know of. Gina looked like she has accepted her fate in the last episode, it looked kinda sus. She also seemed kinda... i don't know, robotic ? With the emotions. That's also what JYP has pointed out. She was skilled, more skilled than many other contestants, but she has no "it" factor at all for me. I don't think it's something you can teach though.
As for Cristina it's a tougher case. Maybe like you said it was her "whatever" attitude during practice. Not gonna lie, during the show she was giving the "here for fun" vibe. She was kinda bland, neutral about it all. You could see how much passion the other girls had and how much they wanted to make it.
People just can't look at this from a professional perspective, from JYPE as a company perspective. These girls must fit the vision JYP has for the group, they must be focused on teamwork and just have a lot of ambition and drive to be better and better. Those two must've lacked in important areas, otherwise they would have made it.
You just can't make people look past their bias and be more objective in judgement in majority of cases, it's unfortunately a human trait often, not just a biased kpop stan mindset.
If i could i would like your comment twice. I agree with everything you said and i share the same observations.
i actually agree with this alot. either way im rly happy you took the time to share your honest opinions and speak your mind. we need more people like you who can discuss such topics respectfully with rationale and without explicitly attacking a specific person or group of people. im sure you're an amazing fan and person to be around HAHA

Finally! I personally agree. When JYP announced Kendal as the final member, I was not surprised. JYP did say himself that one of the most important elements is your character and that is what Kendal had which JYP and the instructors also saw. In terms of Gina and Christina, I agree with you. There could be things behind the scenes we don’t know about and it could also be the reasons you laid out.

Savanna, Lexi & Kaylee are simply friendly & talkative with ppl they are comfortable with. Kendall is pretty thoughtful, like she was looking around & responding to others well. Camila just prefer to observe more I guess (watching other groups's MV reaction there are members like this too tbh), while KG, it seems like she took a while to warm up to the conversation like she wanted to join in but looks kinda lost in her own little world at the same time 😊.
I'm sure the more time they spend together the more the interaction & chemistry between them will grow & hopefully we will have the chance to watch their relationship grow for a very long time too so :))

I am strongly JYPE biased when it comes to girl groups. To me no label can top the JYPE GG feeling. VCHA are no exception to this rule especially since I've followed their creation from day1 through A2K. Wish them health and I'll be waiting for their official debut .
