I own a new RS3, interior has many cheap plastics and my car has rattles in the dash that needed to be fixed. Not to mention piano black surfaces that look an utter mess if you so much as breath on them. Also, bugs in the drive mode software, that Audi can't seem to fix. Lots of cost cutting in the A3 and a lot of un-Audi like things appearing. Try owning one, rather than making false comments on here after watching a video.
I now have a 8y RS3, previous was 8v rs3 ……. no issues at all. Yes cheap plastic in certain areas, but all manufacturers are doing it. Had a Mercedes AMG 45S as a curtesy car …… cheap looking materials too.
I just ordered my US-bound S3 on Saturday morning, right when ordering became available, and the dealer was showing me the different blues on the lot. It's tough to tell in this light, but this looks like Navarra Blue. I ordered the other blue, Ascari Blue, which in certain lighting, has a blue/gray hue to it. It isn't as violet as Navarra. But you cannot go wrong with either and thank you Audi for offering colors! Wish the green was available with the S though.
Really credit Audi for more making REAL updates to their cars. This is more than just cosmetic changes unlike the other guys from Bavaria. Cant wait for the RS3 update!
An S3 costing £60k with options. LOL. Also, if you're in the UK, most options aren't available, e.g. the interior styling pack and sports exhaust. I really hope they don't mess up the facelift RS3, but it looks like that'll be £70k and have that horrible front end as well.
Ascari Blue. In direct sunlight, it is a bright blue with not much violet. In lower light like this garage, you can see a very slight hint of a gray or darker color mixed in. I just ordered mine this past weekend in this color...hopefully have it by January.
The Audi S3 is a compact luxury sports sedan that offers impressive performance, handling, and style. It comes equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers up to 292 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The S3 also features a well-crafted interior with high-quality materials, advanced technology, and comfortable seating for up to five passengers. Overall, the Audi S3 is a great choice for drivers who want a refined and exhilarating driving experience in a compact package.
God, just look at all those hard plastics in the car's interiors... Are they truly expecting us to pay this much money for an overall cheap looking (and feeling) car? No way, I'm out.
@@Jaroslav. Soft plastics, as it should be for a car on this price level. While you're correct in your statement, as a previous Audi owner I can tell you they've cheapened out considerably in these new gen A3's, regardless of their version (yeah, I've experienced them in person).
@@ROMANERUIZA I drove the pre-facelift S3 and the amount of plastic was shocking, that’s absolutely true. The interior was no better than my ‘21 A1. I found some of the plastics in A6 too, but a good portion of materials was brushed aluminium and that was nice. The current gen A4 is really nice inside, but has a fair share of the plastic too. It made me wonder, are or were interiors always this way but the manufacturers are just not trying to hide it anymore? I really don’t know what I would replace the plastics with, as nicer materials can make the car heavier. But yeah, S3 interior is nowhere near the pricetag. While the new one looks nice on video, I’d need to feel it in person.
@@Jaroslav. ah, see? You've been there as well. I've owned 2008 & 2010 A3's, a 2017 A1 and 2019 TTRS, all brand new, and was in the market for a 8Y S3 sedan/saloon from its release date to have it as daily, but man, once I got to experience those nasty hard plastics on the doors panels/cards in person I was out; not even the "entry level" A1 interiors felt nor looked as cheap, considering it was way less expensive. And from this video, seems like they did not improve that on the FL one. Even current A4's and A5's have better interiors quality as they still use the same platform as they've in past years, however, that makes them quite outdated compared to their competitors, let alone other in-house models. It's quite disappointing how Audi expect their customers to pay "top notch" prices for an overall downgraded product (it has good technical improvements, but that does not justify the downgrade in the build and materials).
All the people praising the quality, obviously haven't owned one. I have the new RS3, quality is lowest I have seen in an Audi. Cheap plastics inside, rattles, software bugs and the sound system (B&O) in my car, woeful. Sonus will be even worse! Audi formula it to lower the cost of parts + price rises = more profit. Facelift has done nothing to address the shortfalls of the same car. It's a shame, as the current car does have a lot of positives and this was an opportunity to sort things out. Instead, even cheaper design, even higher price. Saw it coming to be honest.
Great external design .. Audi interior and list of standard spec is poor .. buying them for years but considering moving because they are becoming a rip off price wise .. plastics in the car are terrible
Why oh why, do we keep clogging the intakes and vents, just make it fucking holes please, it would take less plastic in production aswell. It’s ugly, and you could guide air to brakes and much more doing it. Why does all manufacturers keep on insisting to make fake vents and exhaust. It’s so tireing
Glad to see Audi still making good looking cars. They should take a few notes down in Munich.
The height of it, the wind sliding grille, the rims and its colour are superb
Just bought one absolutely amazing
Wish I could afford this car,I've only every had second hand Audi.I wouldn't drive any other car.
The best cars out ❤
This car design is superb, both interior & exterior
New S3 and RS3 are amazing inside and out. Well done Audi.

It's beautiful
Very good looking Audi 10/10 🎉
Mega configuration! The best I've seen.
I love the royal blue 💙🔵💙💙💙💙 sweet 😍❤❤
Good morning beautiful car collor blue, Audi s3 sedan.
Finally the screen is integrated! Now I am ready to buy..
It's been integrated since 2020 actually
Looks and sounds great!
Thanks for the information in the description section.
AUDIS are looking much better than BMWs nowadays 👍
Who are you???

Top tier styling. 💙✌️😊
Imagine what the RS3 will be like
Hopefully NOT like the facelift S3! Terrible design changes and check out the price, nudging £60k with options, for an S3. Audi have lost the plot.
like the look of the pre facelift more
Audi you are so amazing 👏 😍 and keep well for good job 🔥💯
Iconic design language
beautiful car, not a fan of the rims though but that can be changed ;)
Top classe la nouvelle Audi S3 Berline 😂😅😊
Is the flat bottom steering wheel now stock again in the S3?
In prior model it wasn’t.
It was stock, the rounded wheel is for touch sensitive functions needed for steering automation on highway. Same on this one
They're taking forever to give us the look of the new rs3
I experienced it as a prototype already, it looks awesome. Alot of upgrades in the interior. Also optional with TTRS wheel
@madagascar9407 that's great to hear the interior of the outgoing RS3 is so disappointing feels like a regular A3 with no special touches
Mate what colour is that someone answer please

Could you confirm the size of the Akra exhaust tips ?

This s3 has more bhp than that mate
This is the pre facelift 8v specs
The 8y has 300hp. The facelift has around 330hp. Where did you copy and paste this from
What's with the background music of the video and anonymous driver?
The price 😢 in the dreams only to get it
@ORGCars is this Ascari blue color ?
Yes
ORGCars sleep in
I work for an Audi dealership, this looks very similar to ultra blue. I could be wrong and it's just the Vid, but ascari isn't that shiny
@@supershooterkj7840 I don't see Ultra blue available in S3 configurator. Maybe it's Sepang blue ?
Looks like sepangblue
Hello car color name? Thanks
What colour is this .
So many things to like but why get this S3 when you get the Golf R 8.5?
I'd rather own an Audi than a VW. Not all about the car, brand, dealerships, etc... Audi always on top.

All of the silver bits a in the grille are horrible.I prefer the pre face lift
You can change that if you choose the black exterior version.

Color is great. Front and rear grills are worse than ever.
Den guten Sound generiert nur ein V8 Saugmotor. Da hilft auch keine völlig überteuerte Akrapovic Abgasanlage.
