Nice video and good shooting Travis ! It would be nice to show the finished shot cards for the other pellets which didn't shoot well. Nice job with a bad scope and dry chamber seal. Now you're done with the "out of the box revews", Can we see this rifles full potential? Will you "Travis Tune" this Fire with a good scope, a lubed seal, and any other fix to see how much better this rifle will shoot when adjusted with a little lovin? Great work.
Great video Travis. I have a crosman f4. Just wondering what is the difference between the f4 and the fire? I was told that they are the same rifle. And after watching the pellet video gave me a better idea on what to shoot more of through my f4
The couple of springers I messed around with also seemed to really like heavier pellets, not sure why. Nice video and nice shooting. Put 1 of those beeman scopes on there and let's see what the rifle can do. Are we giving her/it/rifle a name?
@@ohshoot444 ahhh that would have been fun, I was thinking like Veronica or Trudy, just by the way my wife chose my boys names and you can probably see why haha
Yes, sir, its all about the right pellets. Thanks to you I learned that. Did the dab of paint allow you to see the shot flight? Not that it matters as they flew well, just curious.
I use my pellet rifle for parrire dog control and at 20 yards it takes 8 to 10 pellets to hit those furry heathens and for the life of me I can't figure out why I can't shoot accurate with my break barrel rifles. I spent 22 years in the Marines shot expert all 22 years served as a sniper for 16 of those years here at home I am one of the best shots at the range we're I live.
One thing that may help you is to make sure you hold the rifle exactly the same each time (or try to), also speed up the trigger pull and keep it as level as possible. I know how you shoot since I was in the marines. You probably shoot a centerfire perfectly. But most of the cheap guns are really cheaply made so it could very much be your rifle. I’ve had several that just wouldn’t shoot.
@Hunt-f8e the biggest issues are the piston seal and barrel. I’ve got a spring compressor which allows me to completely take the rifle apart and size the pistol seal. That and a clean barrel do wonders.
1. Check stock screws. Two in front one in back. Need to be tight but don't strip out. 2. Replace scope rings with decent ones and use proper mounting and torquing methods. 3. Try a few different types of pellets. 4. Or skip all the above and return the rifle. Most of the time it's poor machining of the crown and barrel.
I like an honest clickbait! Haha Thats a good start for a fresh rifle that might need a small break in period and a bit of lube 😁 I just got some very hard to find in kenada (or atleast in my area) longer adjustment screws to try the other trigger mod technique hopefully I wont regret my expensive screw kit and prefer the bearing! Haha
Terminators and H&N FEILD TARGET TROPHY VERY GOOD PELLETS IVE SHOT THOUSANDS OF ROUNDS AND PROBABLY HAD 2 OR 3 PELLETS THAT HAD BENT SKIRTS IM TELLING U H&N ARE PRETTY GOOD
You got me with the clickbait Travis
Andy is definitely the man

I think it's gonna be a good one. I've got like three in front of it.
@@ohshoot444 Looking forward to all your vids!
I got the early model, without the shrouded barrel.
It likes the RWS Super H Point & Winchester Hollow Points!
Winchester HP aka Daisy 7780 HP are pretty dang nice budget pellets.
maybe a little light for my 1101S.
Very good shooting 👍. How much are those Andy Gray pellets running for? My HW30s likes the Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum 10.5.
Barely more money than he gets them for!
*Hes a madman I wouldn't do all of this work for this price 😁*
_We love you Andy_
I sent him a comment on facebook to check in here for some business. I found these on E bay.

you could try the crossmen hollow points they work on all of my air guns
The couple of springers I messed around with also seemed to really like heavier pellets, not sure why. Nice video and nice shooting. Put 1 of those beeman scopes on there and let's see what the rifle can do. Are we giving her/it/rifle a name?
I don't think I've ever named one lol.

I can't during the day unless shooting a long distance. But with my crosman fury around dusk I can.
Dude you break that barrel like an absolute champ😂
Thanks!
Enjoyed the video not sure how you get those groups my break barrell rifles won't shoot those groups.
It's only like 1/10 that I get good groups haha.

How do you tune the fire up ?

@@ohshoot444 thanks bud, what pellets you hunting with?
I just can't zero my crosmen fire what do you recommend

I have a f4 bought like 4 different pellet can’t keep a proper grouping
It will be the scope they are crap
I’d return it. Crosman has horrible quality control.
DId you ever get it sorted out?
Yeah get scoped up and that's a promising rifle 😎

Thanks Tim!
Where can I get some?
First State Airgun Facebook group
Brilliant in my FX Cyclone
Terminators and H&N FEILD TARGET TROPHY VERY GOOD PELLETS IVE SHOT THOUSANDS OF ROUNDS AND PROBABLY HAD 2 OR 3 PELLETS THAT HAD BENT SKIRTS IM TELLING U H&N ARE PRETTY GOOD
The scope is not very clear but it holds up a long time
My eyesight is pretty bad. It'd be just fine for a kid shooting close distances.
The scope is pure crap... I put a $50 Tasco Air scope and better rings on, and it made the Fire a lot more usable.
