Despite how arrogant marcel acts klaus knows that deep down marcel is still the same helpless little boy he saved all those years ago.

Love the fact that even though Marcel can kill an original they still talk to him like he's nothing and still sho no fear at all I love it
Klaus is the only one talking to him like that. The rest of the Originals are more careful with him.
And the only reason Klaus talks to him like that is because we never actually got to see them fight. Rebekah intervened and stopped them, so we don't know what would've happened. You can't use Lucian as an example, because he was about 1000 years older than Marcel and the serum enhanced his abilities by a lot. Marcel is much younger and although he can kick Elijah's ass, we don't yet know if he can do the same to Klaus.
The others fear him the only ones that arent scared of him are Rebekah and Klaus. Rebekah out of love and Klaus because throughout those 5 years he spent captive he still looks at Marcel as a son so regardless whether klaus can beat him or not he gon talk shit cuz marcel is still his son in his eyes

CrazyHynter nah not really. Elijah still fought him knowing the risks, Rebekah held nothing back when confronting. And him and Hayley have always been cordial and he haven't had any interaction with the others so no klaus not the only one being bold around him
He definitely can beat klaus. If not for his bite klaus wouldnt really be able to handle elijah and marcel took elijah down easily.

I love their fathers-son relationship at least Klaus doesn't treat Marcel like Mikael did to him he saved Marcel from his father and raised him as his own even if he isn't his real dad, yet they were like best friends in the past.
He is his real dad he raised him that's what a dad is not just a sperm donor

In many ways Marcel has proved to be the better ruler over most of The Mikaelsons not saying Marcel was not a tyrant but at least he had a policy were people younger then eighteen were off limits at least for a while yeah.

I don't understand why people blame marcel for letting hope to be fatherless? Mikaelsons let him be fatherless too the second they killed Davina. They betrayed him over and over again and still our fandom thinks that Marcel is the enemy. Bc every enemy they had is what they made
But, that’s the thing- Klaus didn’t leave Marcel daughterless or betray him. Freya and Elijah did. Marcel went after Klaus, while he left Elijah and Freya alone.
Klaus tried to keep Davina alive, but the others went batshit in an effort to “preserve their family.” Klaus was innocent, but yet Marcel blamed him the most (because he figured that when something goes wrong it’s usually his fault). Elijah was even the one that ripped Marcel’s heart out of his chest on that bridge, not Klaus. He pretty much blamed Klaus for everything he DIDN’T do, rather than the things he actually deserved punishment for. He also blamed Camille’s death on Klaus, even though Klaus was just as hurt as him (if not more), and Camille would’ve hated to have been used as an excuse to take down someone she loved and believed in. Camille would’ve never been as close to Marcel as she was if not for Klaus, and Marcel made enemies out of many people, just like Klaus, who could’ve easily killed Camille (werewolves, Quarter witches). That’s hypocritical thinking.
Marcel punished not only Klaus, but also Hope. Hope suffered knowing that she had a father that loved her, but couldn’t be there for her because someone took him away and stole him from her. Marcel punished both Klaus and Hope, and why? Because of what Elijah and Freya did, not Klaus. I understand the pain of losing his daughter, and I would understand him going after the real culprit, but he didn’t. He went after the innocent one (and he KNEW he was innocent too, because he literally watched Freya rip Davina from his life as Elijah restrained him and made him watch).
It seems like most of his animosity is towards Klaus, and hardly towards Elijah and Freya at all, which doesn’t make any sense. It feels like he used Davina as an excuse to take down Klaus, even though Marcel obviously loved Davina. Seriously though, it’s Klaus he went after and acts like he hates the most- but he didn’t KILL Marcel, and he didn’t KILL Davina (which was apparently Marcel’s excuse and reasons for his actions).
Dude, Davina was a girl Marcel used to control the witches. If you are father to someone, you don't use your daughter for your own causes
