The ticket price in Copenhagen is based on distance (zones) and is the same regardless of mode of transport (Train, bus, Automated Metro, S-Train, Ferry) Be certain to use the correct platform at Copenhagen's Kastrup Airport as the trains in the other direction make their first stop after the airport in Sweden.
As a Dane, I am proud to see that movie, and listen to and read your positive review about something, that makes me so happy. Our Central Station in Copenhagen ARE really one of a kind in the world - and the same you could say about Copenhagen Airport. Cosy, easy to navigate in and easy to reach no matter where in the world you come from. Welcome to Denmark - the country of H.C.Andersen.
Great! Happy that you enjoyed the video. Did you see my YT video of Central Station? I totally agree. I could live there! Also, I loved CPH Airport and made a video of that too. I love the wood floors - so Dane!
Thanks for the video, it reminds me of my nice trip there back in January. I was taking the train everyday so I spent a lot of time in the Central H. The McDonald's and 711 came in handy many early mornings! Sadly I forgot my carry on bag on a train and by the time I realized the train had left and I had to catch this train to the airport, so my bag is probably still sitting with the police :( Great city is Copenhagen!
What is the company to buy from. Also, I need a map where is travels. We wanted to go Copenhagen to Billund to go to Lego Land. Then down to Hamburg and over to Berlin. Would appreciate any help,in navigating this! Thanks Sherry from South Carolina
@@Juuk-D sounds good - tell me the danish (hi)story of free WiFi in public transport. In Czech republic private bus (and later also train) company "Student Agency" today known as RegioJet installed free WiFi to whole fleet of its always brand new Irizar/Scania busses 15 years ago as first in Europe as a standard - including charging sockets for elecrtronic devices under each seat,, free hot drinks with delivery to the seat by stewrd(ess), free newspars and magazines with seat delivery, free infotaiment on private screean for every screen - movies, games, and more... And of course free headphones to let during the journey. The tickets were and have been the cheapest on the market.. The same in all their trains with very good food for a prices way cheaper than in supermarkets...
Well. That could involve a long explanation. If you can make it through security and the boarding process to get to Copenhagen by plane, the train journey will be easy. When you buy the ticket just have someone local help you buy the ticket. Danes are fantastic English speakers. Then the train station is a mere few hundred meters distant from the ticket counter and below the arrival floor! Just ask people until you get on the train " Does this train or where do I get the train to XYZ"? Once on the train just confirm with a local when your stop is coming. They will announce it too.
For now, any train that leaves the Northern platform heads into the central station, most continue further into the city. That being said, this isn't always clear from the destination sign.
Question - If you stay on the Oresunds train from the airport (no switching trains) is the next stop always the Vesterport station? Thank you for the awesome video.
No. The first stop from platform 2 is Tårnby and the first stop from platform 1 is Hyllie in Sweden Edit: for Vesterport, change for an S train at Copenhagen Central Station
Vesterport is between Central and Nørreport, but is only served by S-Train. At Copenhagen Central, leave the Øresundståg, walk to Tracks 9-10 and take any of the red S-trains which head into the tunnels, Vesterport will be the next stop, regardless of the line.
@@ependerWell that would be track 9 and 10 as track 11 and 12 is towards the south and western part of the city. But if your destination is around Vesterport then its probably just quicker to walk from the central station.
@@anderslarsen6009 Well spotted, I have corrected my mistake. You're also quite right about them being really close together, it's usually not worth changing trains for.
Can you please tell me how to buy ticket from that machine and is there English language optional? And can u please tell me how to reach helsinor from Copenhagen airport? In detail? Would be thankful if u help me🙏
Yes we picked English language. You can pick many languages. You can probably buy a ticket to Helsingor at the airport. You may have to change trains. Please check out www.rome2rio.com. That will tell you exactly how to get there
Yes the ticket machines have an English option. You just select ticket, and choose a destination. If your destination isn't shown as one of the buttons, you can type it in as well. The machine will automatically calculate the fare. Also several trains from Copenhagen go to Elsinore, just look for the name "Helsingør" on the platform displays

Just like the sound the trains make when they stop
Haha, but some have screeching sounds.
@@swissclimber1 idk maybe i’m austitic, but don’t care
When I went off here I thought Copenhagen Airport station was a metro station
LOL. Hope You didn't miss your flight!
From the ground, you go up to the Metro station or down to the station for other trains.
There is also a Metro station, you walk past the stairway to the railway station to get to it.
Free WiFi is standard in any Czech train of any company - in any class..
Thank you for that insight
Same in every train/bus/taxi/ferry in Denmark

Good video.where else can you go from here. Other European countries? Thanks
Hello. You can go to the neighboring countries like Sweden, Germany, Poland, etc.
Do you know if this service runs overnight?
You can use Copenhagen's 4 metro lines 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
hello!!! is there any luggage limit to carry from CPH airport to CPH central station via train ?
Absolutely NOT!
How much does the 24hours ticket costs
I think it costs about 5 EURO for the inner city ticket. More for the outer-city ticket
