You dont carry a SAK because you have to use 2 hands to open. So you carry a Leatherman that uou can one hand open. And then you put it in a pouch with 😮a zipper that you will have to unzipp to get to your one hand opening tool.🤦
@@nick-qx6pl uh oh, looks like someone didn’t pay attention: my main complaint with SAK’s is that the tools don’t lock. If the tools on a SAK locked but were two hand opening, I would still carry one. I was explaining the one hand opening feature on the Leatherman because this is a RUclips channel and people come here for information on tools they may not be familiar with.
Usually I know the project I’ll be working on and get my tools out that I’ll need. So a pouch really doesn’t have any affect if it’s already laid out. I usually have to swap tools after already starting a project and having something in my hand, hence the one handed opening.
@@KungFuTweety1 The problem with adding more victorinox tools is that they’re incredibly hard to source in bulk. We struggle to keep just the pens, toothpicks and tweezers in stock because dealers so rarely have them. We do have a larger version that takes a full size Bic and includes a ferro rod among other accessories but the Mini is more edc focused so we picked the three tools that we thought would be most useful.
hey bro, i just signed up on mikes email list and reached out to him , very good stuff , def. wanna talk more blade bro , love talking blades n such , thanks > tom !
@@carrot5570 I’ve found the Pro as low as $220 since the Pro 2 came out, which I feel is plenty fair for a US made light. The original is nice but the output isn’t nearly as good. The Pro 2 is definitely a bit overpriced imho

The bic carrier is interesting you should add slots for the pin and that ferro rod the size of a toothpick.
