@justified_edc you know how they have the little tear notch? Just on the top part fold duct tape on itself just makes a little "pull" so it's easier to tear like zfold etc open. Just one of those things reduced deployment time a few seconds potentially like a properly staged TQ

@@bauhausoffice uneven edge bevels that don’t cut, burnt edge bevels that don’t hold their edge, blades smacking into the backspring, etc aren’t nitpicks. Also I’ve handled plenty of knives in this kind of form factor that don’t have the blade rubbing on the scales. For the price Tactile charges, they can do much better. I’m glad you got a good one, but I have seen, heard from others and read about dozens of examples of Tactile screwing their knives up from the factory. I personally owned 4 Tactile knives and all 4 had issues that never should have left the shop.

@@poland_stronk3044 assuming you’re talking about the Turner CNC, I don’t really see it. Fred Perrin does straight clips and uses a super deep finger choil on the handle, neither of which this knife has

@@vladspb_ all of the liner lock tools are extremely solid. There’s a bit of flex in the other tools but no more than any leatherman. As for the knife, I’m sure it’s some cheap steel but that’s what you get for the price. Even if you have to sharpen it more often, it should be very easy to maintain

@@justified_edc ok, don't have instagram, but ill figure it out. Bought one of their blades on the secondary and the knife is great but their sheath doesn't hold the blade in securely and it looks like one of their sheaths?

@ hmm yeah I’m not sure about that. I’ve never had that issue with any of their sheaths but it’s possible someone tried to remold it and ruined the retention. I would try heating up the back yourself and trying to remold it and if that doesn’t work, contact him through the website. There might be a contact email there

@@tunyung it doesn’t list it online unfortunately. I would have to guess it’s slightly on the softer side because I used it relatively hard in an outdoor setting and the edge stability was better than expected. That being said it still held an edge decently long but I would say maybe 58-59 HRC? That’s just a guess tho

@@heathen-greaser traditional knives are definitely useful tools for bridging the gap between us and non-knife people. They can usually appreciate it as a piece of history or something they remember their grandfather having around.
