Most kids worry about their makeup in their newest post, their loss of one follower, what their favourite influencer is up to, why Snapchat or instagram is down etc. Most kids can't spell simple words because their life is spent shortening them because they're too lazy to type three extra letters. Not many kids have an imagination as they're are practically born holding a phone, then they are positioned in front of the TV until they are at the age for school, then the schools put them in front of computers and give them e-homework. This is the sad truth of the world today, and I know because I am 18 and in my short life time, I have have seen it change. So, thank you for being an exception to the majority. It's quite sad that I have to thank a young person for having an imagination, but there it is. Thank you for not letting your life slip away ♡

The intense smell, burning eyes...is usually due to the toxic compounds created by urine mixing with chlorine. That’s why no one should ever pee in the pool. On of the compounds is a thing used in chemical warfare...of course it’s low levels, but it adds up.
i was explaining to my 9 year old brother that he didn't have to leave the sea for a wee, took a lot of explanation but he understood however he then pulled his shorts down so it didn't get pee on his swimtrunks 😂

Here in Brisbane the winter sea temp is just over 20C. In England in summer it is just over 17C. I swim in England in summer but it's not really a swim, it's more like surviving long enough to call it a swim.

Last year me and my two other cousins were in my Nan's pool. We do this thing where we just 'take the plunge' and fall into the water. My cousins were already in there and said it was freezing. I 'took the plunge' and was surprised we didn't all get hypothermia. It was *ACTUALLY FREEZING*

DON'T EVER take advice from someone not in the pool saying "it's alright once you're in", especially when there's no one in the pool BECAUSE you might end up with a broken ankle like I once did. I listened to the "advice" and also thought that jumping in was better than taking it slowly one step at a time, long story short, there was a sheet of ice covering the pool ❄.
