I saw those when watching a bunch of your videos on setting up dual z-axis I thought $60 was too much for one it is cool that it comes with everything you need though show us more prints thanks for your videos
this ball screw is not "ungraded". it's a C7 accuracy class rolled ball screw. C10-C7 are rolled and C5-C0 are ground. i think the whole mindset of "proper ones can cost 9999K bucks so this $60 is a gift" are wrong. this screw cost about $12. but those guys buy them in bulk for about $5 and then sell for $60 to those who banned from Google. it's widespread practice on DIY market nowadays. to sell cheap off-the-shelf industrial parts like it's a something very special, custom made etc.
Is there any chance of you doing a short showing something printed where we can see the layers? I had the chance to get 3 used 12mm ballscrews and nuts for relatively little money considering how much they cost new, but they were 600mm long so I would have needed to build a new printer to use them so I let them go, and have regretted it ever since
So frustrating... these companies are so close to being perfect and they skimp on the dumbest stuff. All it leads to for them is more warranty to deal with and dissatisfied customers. Id spend and extra $50 to $100 just for them to stop cutting corners.
Very good update, we will wait for some video of the assembly since I see it as essential for my Ender 3 v2, you could even put double
unfortunately the heavily textured test print effectively hides any z-axis travel irregularities.
