As a Transformers fan who got into the franchise through the Micheal Bay movies (the 2007 movie's still a guilty pleasure of mine), it's great this alongside Bumblebee and Rise Of The Beasts are giving audiences the real Transformers and not stuff like Devastator's literal wrecking balls, Deep Wang, the Romeo & Juliet law and whatever the fuck the editing in The Last Knight was. Also, September is basically the month of animated robot flicks and I do hope Transformers One can still stand on its own even with The Wild Robot coming up.
Just got out of seeing this and I agree that this movie is a 8/10. I loved this movie and it truly surprised me by how great it was. Definitely a worthwhile watch.
I just went and seen the movie today. I’ve been a fan of the film series since 2007. I get it’s not for everybody. I went in with moderate expectations. And they were exceeded. We can agree on the 1st act. The run time could have been 10 minutes longer. But everything else came together in a way I didn’t expect. TF One is the most awesome animated film I’ve seen since TMNT: Mutant Mayhem! Fight me if you are!
I feel kind of bad I'm not seeing this because I'm more into watching the wild robot, not to say Transformers One is bad but I couldn't really get into the franchise. However with the praise it has been getting, maybe I'll consider renting it months later.
No offense, but that's just half of the movie in the beginning. Yes, its slow in the first act, but that's apparent with most movies these days. I tend to overlook these nitpicks few of the time, because most of this year has been lacking GOOD films, because of Hollywood's lack of respect to the medium's intergrity.
I will be honest, I like the Michael Bay Transformers movies. They are the one's that got me into Transformers. But do I think they are good films? No. Absolutely not (Especially four and five). But I can watch the first three movies for mindless fun and action. But I'm hoping the franchise has a promising future if Lorenzo di Bonaventura is removed from the franchise.
I agree with you for the most part except that mutant mayhem is better. At least this movie felt like it was written by people who understand transformers. Mutant mayhem made me question whether seth rogen is a ninja turtles fan
Someone spam this dude's comment sections and beg him to watch the other Transformers animated series, G1 is charming but outdated by today's standards. Animated, TF Prime, Beast Wars, and Armada, are some of the best TF media out there, heck, play the games as well, War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron, they're the best depiction of the Autobot v Decepticon war. TF was always good, it's just that the good was overshadowed by the bad of the later Bayverse films.
However when seeing the IGN article on the current troubles at Pixar, I am gonna step away and stop supporting major studios since they have a major problem of not treating animators with the respect they deserve. This is why we need an animation strike, don't care about delays I want better working conditions for the artists/ animators!!!
I know, but rumors did surfaced that working at Paramount animation isn't a good place to work at!!! In fact, it's a complete nightmare and every major studio has the same issues too

I’m scared for the two movies to compete. I want them both to be good and be worth of profits.

I blubbed like a baby when Optimus died in the 86 movie. At that point it was a major thing and caused a HUGE uproar… back then.
Nothing will ever beat the banger of a line, “There is isn’t a tighter shirt. We checked.”
🤜🤛
God this was great.
This might be the best transformers movie since the 1986 one.

9:13 Are you TRYING to kill me?!
In all seriousness, another excellent review! Can't wait to see the movie when I can :)
8/10
Will be seeing it on Saturday. I have high hopes…
September is the best when it comes to animated Robot Movies like TF One and The Wild Robot along with Robot Dreams on Physical media
I will not forget when we had two Yeti movies come out a year apart from each other.
@@manuelorozco7760 DreamWorks' Abominable, Warner Bros. Pictures Animation's 2018 film Smallfoot and Laika's Missing Link
@@DimitarKolarov-hy2exMissing Link didn’t come out in September

I’m not sure which one of the two movies I’ll enjoy more.
Dude, you should play Fall of Cybertron and War for Cybertron. Then you will be a transformers fan.

go see this... its unbelievably good.. .
The live action movies got me into TF too. But this new one is more Bumblebee level quality.
@@christophersojka8840 I just did last night. And it was... WONDERFUL!!!

I actually enjoyed both movies equally. Neither of them I expected to turn out the way they did.

This has nothing to do with Transformers
