    OMG thank you! My mom gave me a rep speedy that's absolutely perfect in every way except for the hideous sloppy bright red glazing. I'm going to buy one of these pens tomorrow and fix it :D

    Redi do you make sure the alcohol is dry first before you start with the pen ❤

    • @Radi_Ignatova
      @Radi_Ignatova  Год назад +2

      Yes, this will prevent the pen from bleeding on the leather.

    Not sure about IPA but some have tried acetone and it's not advised as it degrades the glaze and takes the finish off the leather. Personally I would just give the vachetta leather and glaze "a tan" and let |Mother Nature do its work.

      The alcohol did a fab job. It is a matter of personal taste. I do not like the look of the new, almost white vachetta.

    Can you do something for the monogram because it’s too warm. The original has a less warmth brown more green tint to it. Any suggestions appreciated!😊

    • @Radi_Ignatova
      @Radi_Ignatova  4 месяца назад +1

      No, you can not do anything about it. They all look different depending on the dyes used, so you can not determine the authenticity by this.

    Would you do this before or after darkening the vechetta with olive oil?

    • @Radi_Ignatova
      @Radi_Ignatova  11 месяцев назад

      It wouldn't really matter. The best might be if you did the glazing before treating the leather, and make sure not to do them at the same time to just in case the leather soak up the alcohol.

    Matte top coat works and cheaper than a copic pen.
