  • Chili Beans with Ground Pork Maple Sausage
    30 to 45 minute Meal
    1 Can of 111 oz. Pre-cooked Bush Pinto Beans
    1 Roll Pork Maple Sausage 16 oz
    1 Pkg. Frozen Vegetable Seasoning (holy trinity)
    (Bell pepper, onion, celery)
    1 pkg. McCormick Hot Chili Seasoning Mix
    2 tsps. Ground Garlic
    1 tsp. Paprika
    2 tbsps. Ground Chili Powder
    4 Dashes Tabasco Sauce
    1 tsp. Chili Flakes
    2-4 tbsps. Parsley Flakes
    1 lb. Smoked Sausage (cut into cubes)
    2 tbsps. Creole Seasoning
    Note: You can put all the ingredients in a crock pot if you just don’t want to watch the pot, so that it will give you time to do other things around the house or even run some errands.
    In a saucepan add a small amount of water then add the round pork sausage by breaking up into 1-2 inch pieces leaving in small chunks. Allow the pork a rolling boil then turn off one the meat is no longer pink but make sure while boiling to stir slightly with spatula then turn off and drain. Put it to the side.
    In Large Pot add all the ingredients listed then bring to a rolling boil, then simmer on medium until creamy and thick for 30- 40 minutes.
    Serve over rice or without or with Cornbread even crackers enjoy.
