I saw this synth back when it was first announced and all I thought was, “I have an iridium 49 key, why would I spend nearly 5 grand on this!” Well, I’ve come to realize the 3rd wave is a pretty big deal. I’m so close to pulling the trigger and robbing my bank account! I’ll have to sell something just so I will have space for the wave. I am also considering getting a Waldorf microwave XTK. I always wanted one.
@@LesFarrington it really is remarkable, the VA is outstanding, especially with it running through the P5 filter. Between that, the PPG Wave tabes, fantastic sequencer, 24 voices, and now sampling capabilities in the new OS, it is an absolute monster. The dual effects sound great, and its dual effects per layer, so a total of 8 separate effects can be run simultaneously across the 4 parts. It’s expensive , but it’s built like a tank, and it literally 4 x 6 voice synths in one unit.
