Just to anyone wondering alongside their RUclips videos there in person coaching is very good I had a lesson a few weeks back and we took a large step into sorting some stuff out as a beginner golfer , I’ll definitely be going back again to iron some things out and progress my swing more but there is some top coaching handing out

I followed Brian’s method for years and continued to watch you as you carried on his teachings to where you are now. An expanded version making it more interesting but still simple and easy to understand for everyone at all levels, especially for seniors like me at 76. I have lost distance and am anxious to try this tip in lieu of forcing the swing to gain that lost yardage. Brian would be immensely proud to see what you have accomplished. Carry on for us seniors. 🇨🇦👍👨‍🦳

I think your shorter backswing still incorporates your great wrist hinge, which is essential in my opinion. Anyway either of your two swings is acceptable. So good news for back sufferers!

Very helpful, thank you both. I'm doing the "plank" for 1 minute each day and my back certainly feels stronger, and golf doesnt hurt it. Love your authentic advice☘️

Great info. I’ve been out of golf for awhile and am now 63, lost a lot of strength and I know I will be tight. So this will help a lot.

Thanks for your kind comment Niall. Is a stronger core and back helping you with your golf do you think?

Love your swing! The one thing I noticed is that your hips appear to be barely open at impact. I've heard recommendations like 34 degrees open but yours seems much less. Thanks

Thank you, I used to turn my hips more but that’s when I damaged my back, that’s why I changed and I’m pleased to say that I’ve helped 1000’s of golfers overcome health issues and improve their golf at www.Propergolfing.com

This reverses some old thinking about the backswing. Thanks guys!
What is the name of the balance platform you use?

Thanks as always, Julian and Jo. I played on the weekend with someone who had a short swing, and his accuracy, power and distance were impressive. It also seems to reduce errors and mishits from full swings. I will give it a go in the net today! I've tried many other swings so, why not, maybe this is THE one!! :). BTW, what is the monitor/launcher that you use?? Cheers, Frank.

I was genuinely shocked when it went further, I’ve hit a lot of balls since making this video all with the same added distance 😀 the monitor is a Foresight, excellent piece of equipment
