The Augusta was the first ever truly monocoque car ever produced. Although the 1928 Lancia Lambda is generally credIted for that, the Lambda still had a unibody of sorts bolted onto its chassis. The Augusta, believe it or not, was also Lancia's first car aimed at a wider public, namely the growing middle class in 1930s' Italy. This Augusta example, with all the exquisite modifications, is certainly even more spectacular!
Appreciate the vid but hate the fact that the correct pronunciation of the important name "Lancia" is too much for the vid's host. Even the off commentation does it correct. Italian is the most beautiful language and here we have only one word of it. So please...

There’s no turbo...it’s a boost gauge for the supercharger.

Please don’t call the bonnet a hood. Ludicrous.
