The heaters usually are used at night events and on the really cold or possibly even rainy days. :) I think you can ask them to turn the heaters on in your section at any time.
OK! So a few things, so i am from San Antonio I do a lot of the SeaWorld videos here. I just recently subscribed to your channel which i think is great btw. So I have to just say wow you actually got a dine with orcas right before Nakai passed! that's hard to find. I got his last show when I went there in July we went to SeaWorld July 30th and when i came home I found out he was gone. So very bittersweet. I loved this video for one main reason!!! YOU SHOWED THE FOOD!!! So because I am in San Antonio I have to say the spread and the food in San Diego WAS INCREDIBLE compared to what they serve at our Dine W Orcas, and I did do the dine with orcas in cali but my video is just the show and i forgot to show the food lol BUT LONG NOVEL SHORT seeing this again and seeing Nakai gave me such wonderful memorable feelings about my trip there. Thanks for the videos and you do a very good job with the camera. Maybe you will subscribe to me maybe you wont but thanks again!!!
No different than going to a movie theater and everyone pays the same price. Some people are in the middle and have the best view, others are on the front row craning their necks, and others are in the way back with a “smaller” screen as far as perspective goes. Some people have aisles and others have to crawl over others to use the restroom. Yet everyone pays the same.
The host gave us the option of where to sit. But he led us to it and set it up. It wasn't a "just wander around and pick a random table" type of thing.
What an awesome experience. And even the regular price for it is great. And the view of the Orcas, wow. I have always seen it, but never have I tried it. I would definitely do it. Probably not this coming trip. Food looks good too.
If I go to the Dine With Orca's by myself can I still sit anywhere I want? Would I be sharing a table with others? DId you see any solo, bar seats? Just curious. This experence looks so much fun! Thank You for Sharing!
My guess is you’ll have your own table. But they assign what table you’re at. Though of course I’m sure you can ask to change if you arrive early enough.
We were placed at our table by the hostess and they didn’t ask. However, if there are open glass-side seats I’m sure you could ask them to put you there.
Love your channel so much! I was wondering if you knew if they had high chairs available for babies/toddlers at the buffet? Also didn't see milk as an option but our 1.5 year old drinks milk- do you know if that is available at the buffet? Like are there servers to ask for an alternative? Other than that I was wondering if they had any accommodations for vegan or vegetarian options since I am vegetarian... would my best bet be to eat the salad and vegetables and kids mac & cheese? Thanks for your help! I am going to be going through ALL of your content for help planning our first CA trip to DL/DCA and San Diego this September :)
I am not sure on the high chair or milk situation since it’s not something we were looking for. I personally would Facebook message Seaworld and ask there and if they do any dietary accommodations.
I believe I just ordered it while logged in with my SeaWorld account that has the pass linked. It’s been awhile so I don’t fully remember and I know SeaWorld isn’t the easiest to use benefits for sometimes.
I believe you can fit 4 at a table. They might be able to put two tables together to make them larger. I'd speak with the staff when you check-in if your group is larger.
Thank you so much for this. I have already reserved. I'm coming with my 3 boys and bf any hotels you recommend either 1 bedroom suites we are looking for privacy.
Does anyone know if all the fine with orca experience are back to buffet? Orlando was a served meal and it looked rubbish but we’d book if it was back to a buffet like this x
You’d have to ask on a SeaWorld Orlando page or FB group maybe. I’ve never been to the Orlando park. I thought about making a visit on our upcoming Orlando trip but we decided against it.
No, they sat us at a table. However, I didn’t notice any particular reason for the table other than the host knew who we were and wanted us to have a good video spot. So it’s possible you could ask for a different table if you saw one you liked better. But no guarantees.
Thanks for the video... questions answered. Next time you do a experience like this I'd recommend commenting on the food after of just keeping the camera on the show. As a viewer I can her you talking about the food and I already got to see what you picked so the camera doesn't need to be on your face.
The show lasts about 30 minutes. After that, most people just left when they finished eating. We left maybe 10 minutes after the show ended. I don’t recall exactly when they shut down the line. But it’s not the type of thing where you sit there for 3 hours and keep eating as much as you want.
Great video! Coming to Sea World for the first time next month and trying to decide between Dine with the Orcas and the Up Close Dolphin Encounter for my family (including 2 teens). Would love your thoughts!
Fun tip if you are headed to the park and not going to the Dine itself that day... I recommend that you still look up the Dine event times... And then head to the pathway viewing (which yes, currently has a construction wall) or even better head to the underwater glass viewing exhibit area during the Dine. You'll still get to see some cool whale training sessions from that top pathway, and some really cool underwater views of them landing their jumps from below at the glass. Sometimes they do some targeting for the Dine attendees starting from the under water viewing, and you may get to see some cool behind the scenes training from that angle as well. :) Check it out! :)
Yes! I mentioned this at one point while filming but then couldn’t easily find it while editing (I filmed the whole show, but didn’t put it all in there so I missed my comment somewhere). Thanks for sharing it here!
@@bowlingaly5059 it’s not in the video. I’m 99% positive. I just remember saying it while filming but didn’t want to rewatch the whole 30 minutes to find it. I scrolled through at high speeds to find the exciting bits.
I’m not positive but a rule of thumb is that most theme parks don’t allow them. So it’s best not to bring them. Anything that extends is not permitted. But you can take small handhold devices that hold iPhones or other cameras provided it doesn’t extend.
They were just probably wondering what I was doing. A lot of people turn and look. Some like to “photobomb” (is videobomb a term? 😂) I’ve gotten used to it. 🤷🏻♂️
I wish they were free out in the wild too but if they want to keep them I think think at least they should have pen in the ocean so they can have a bit of freedom instead of being locked up in the small tank
@@daylight385 Yeah they need to stop that cycle it doesn’t make it any better And they probably should be in a sanctuary Where they don’t have to do tricks and shit
@@luckyone2837 they stopped the breeding program in 2017 so no more orcas in captivity. Once they are all gone that's it. So I say love them and embrace the life they have even if it is in a tank. Just because they are in a tank doesn't mean you cant support them and care for them right? Also something else that might make you happy to know. They are never forced to do anything if they don't want to do anything in the show they don't have to. They do it because it stimulates their mind and gives them something to do instead of just swimming around in a big pool. I hope this makes you feel better, that's honestly all I was trying to do. The glass panels are relatively new, for about 10 years they had tiered ropes...and lots of extra salt water being splashed onto your food. :)
Thank you so much for this helpful video! You answered all our questions about this dining experience. :)

Is the area where you sat the best seats to be up close and see the whole show? I'm going there next week.
I don’t think there’s a “bad” seat anywhere. They’ve all got really great views of the show.
Seems odd that they would have some seats against the glass and others not. People not on the glass don't get the same experience, but pay the same.

For the amount of money you pay especially if you go with your family. I think they can do a better job on the food selection.
You are going to make me extend my trip to San Diego!
Haha! So many things to do here. That’s for sure.
Thanks for the video, it answered a lot of my questions. Was your table pre-assigned? Or did you go in and pick out your table?

Do the tables along the glass only seat 4 people? Or are there some that will seat up to 6? Thanks!
There are some 6 seaters up against the glass. Visible at 1:49

I’ve never stayed at any hotels in the area so I won’t be any help there unfortunately, but I hope you have a great time!
I have a question?. How much is to dine with the orcas?. Is all day dining deal comes with dining with the orcas?.
Without any annual pass discounts it’s $44.99. And it is NOT included with all day dining.
