Every time I watch a live Talk Talk video, I'm stunned at how Mark Hollis was able to recreate the sound of the original recordings so closely. What an incredible talent!
I was in my teens when these guys appeared and never really noticed them at the time. There were so many other talented song writers and bands around. But now for me,Talk Talk stand out far more and Mark Hollis as a real musical genius. I love listening to them now.
Talk Talks first single. A sublime performance that highlights the power of Marks unique vocals and a band who excelled when it came to performing their work live.❤
this was the start of something really good and to this day with all the complete changes in each album i still listen as if its the first time i have heard them, always amazing. When you hear Mark Hollis solo album he still has that amazing voice just alot quieter
I absolutely loved this band x marks voice was incredible ,the tunes were way ahead of their time and this debut single was actually released on my birthday x God bless ya Mark ❤❤
Very powerfull Song and such a Voice!!! Mark's Voice was deeper and louder as he was younger. In the later and latest Albums it got softer and softer..... neverthless allways so amazing. Nobody compares to him!
such a nice song...... Here he is perfect. No sun glasses to hide his eyes. His eyes are nice not to be hidden. They look like Bryan Ferry's. No hidding behing a curtain of hair... Not holding a guitar without playing but a nice presence as he should always be. RIP. I feel so sad that we lost him.
I am assuming temptation was a potential issue for him and if that was the case i admire the fact he put his family first. There are very few real men left in the world that know what could be a potential issue and to avoid that for the sake of his family is awesome! What a man!
@@VmaxClubBrasil according to fact he is still very good keyboard player with decent pro gear I suppose he continued in music business but with lower porofile.
@@marguskiis7711 I am afraid he left the music world after he left the band. Which would be a waste.I haven't found any reference to his musical work in the last 30 years.
What?
Every time I hear Paul Webb’s bass lines I learn something new.

I have been a fan of Talk Talk since 1996.I wish someone would release Talk Talk DVDs with early concerts when Simon Brenner was still in the band.

Besides the music and the musicians, love so much these lyrics…………."see the state she´s in".....
thank you!
Such a powerful presence on stage. STILL can't believe the dude walked away from his music career. Such a shame !

The dice told him to
Ti amo Mark David hollis
Those were the times when Hollis dared to sing without sunglasses.
He was a shy guy after all...but also confident
@@Raptuza he was like me 😮
So sad to hear of the passing of Mark Hollis, 1955-2019.

Me gusta mucho esté tema de Talk Talk
What can i do to have this blasting in all the neighborhood.
Turn up Paul's mic!!
Che bello che sei Mark
Pocas veces dejó ver sus lindos ojitos 😊
Yesss
In despite of the deaf keyboard player, this video is amazing.
I totally agree with you.
Mark was never the same again after Simon left the band. They were like Lennon-McCartney but crashed too early.
I wonder why Simon left the band. Do you know the reasons?
@@fncisco9380 I would like to know either.
Does anyone know any musical work by Simon Brenner after Talk Talk?

what always got me about Mark Hollis live is that he was so good it sounded like he was miming but he wasn't he WAS that good.
