The problem is they are borrowing to give it out in foreign aid, that's before you even look at the uk finances. Also the billions spend on migration again before you even look uk finances. Massive borrowing before looking at how the country funds

I also remember the 70s. Spot on Mike. I was in last couple of years of school and it impacted my education for sure. 3 day weeks, power black outs - candles, no tv, massive inflation, food shortages….absolutely horrendous. I have never voted for labour for this very reason and I never will.
