    i really like how the visual feels more like a documentary

    Very good footage. Help god ill get my hands on that camera someday. I feel like its the best camcorder out there. Ima huge fan of Panasonic but for god's will i use Canon right now (somehow i even hated them back in the days but now im okay with Canon) yet i dont have that much job right now to earn enough to buy that camera. I left TV years ago but now i do my blog (not RUclips) and it doesnt really get me that much money. Greets from Russia, sir! Have a good day and i wish you all your adventures would be that greatly documentaries. As my humble advice let me tell you that u (and me also ofc) need to push up our narratives! Your video quality is already superb (as mine too) but as for video, the main part is a narrative. Yet our videos dont have enough. I guess a back voice about something historical would made a film of this one.

    Very beautiful. Thank you for letting us experience Ireland through your eyes. I wanted to sit on the windy hill over looking the cliffs.

      That was definitely one of my favorite places too.

    Love this video and camera, how long is the battery life fully charged using 4k60p?

    • @hunsberg
      @hunsberg  4 месяца назад +2

      Thanks! I haven't been filming much at that framerate, but at 4k24p I can easily get 4 hours.

    Is all the audio in the video capture with the onboard mic ?

    • @hunsberg
      @hunsberg  8 месяцев назад

      Yep, all from the onboard mic. When it isn't windy it is actually really good.

    What are tour export settings when uploading to RUclips? Does the image degrade when you upload to RUclips?

    • @hunsberg
      @hunsberg  8 месяцев назад

      I use Shotcut to edit the videos and export as an MP4 with HEVC. In Shotcut's settings I have a quality based render of about 50%, so with 4k footage it comes out to a very clean (but large) video at an average bitrate of about 30mbs. RUclips definitely adds compression over that when uploaded.

      @@hunsberg I see thanks for the breakdown. I’m assuming that when you watch these videos on your computer they look a lot better than the same video on RUclips.
      I have a Sony full frame and I just ordered this camera bc I liked the way your Ireland vlog looked. I need something that’s easier to use and something that I can just grab and record.
      Do you still have this camera and what’s your opinion of it now that you have used and owned it for quite a while?

    • @hunsberg
      @hunsberg  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yep I still have it and love it! The battery life, stabilization, and long zoom lense are amazing. I'm usually filming outdoors so I'm always using the ND filters too.
      Low light performance is... Meh. You can get it to work, but it is a struggle.
      Also in the camera settings, put the Auto Gain Control to 3db or lower really helps reduce noise.

    Hi there. Great video, and id like to ask you, if you use manual mode or auto? Do you use the ND FILTERS with what settings, and what settings did you use. Thank you

    • @hunsberg
      @hunsberg  11 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks!
      Yes this was on manual with the below settings:
      -422 23.976 fps 4k
      -1/48 shutter speed
      -Gain Control limit 3db
      -Manual WB
      -Auto iris
      -Auto focus
      -Appropriate ND filter for current shot

      Thank you very much for you answers. When you use ND filters, what are the settings?Also did you use tripod? I will watch and the other videos you have. I use hc2000. Thanks once again. And i subscribed. Great job@@hunsberg

    • @hunsberg

      Which ND filter to use depended on what the camera recommend when the scene was too light or too dark. Sometimes that was not a good suggestion, so turning on Zebra also helped see when the scene was over exposed.
      Most of the shots were handheld, except for the Cliffs of Moher and the Ballintoy Beach clips. Those two places were mostly on a tripod.
