I dont think anyone would feel sorry for you being blind you are an inspirational lady nothing deters you. I cannot believe what you do cooking, doing your blankets and other things you do.. Thank you Jane for answering my question. What an interesting answer you gave. I loved this extra video you have treated your followers to this weekend. I do lots of voluntary work following a long career as a teacher; this includes working one day a week in a local hospital at an information desk as well as working for the National Trust as a catering assistant. I am also a school Governor and a Stewart in Durham Cathedral. There are so many opportunities in the North East to help others. Love and thanks to you and Joe.
Hi Jane love the Q&A I have had a very bad week on play as my healt has not being good. Have had a few epilepsy fits and have being in a lot of pain, also being in bed half the week . That is way I did not do a vlog this week . But I am getting weight in tomorrow and this Q&A has motivated me to have a good week . Thankyou for doing this video it has helped me 🤗. Wow what a surprise or see another blog this week. It’s a bonus as I’m just back from church had a bit of lunch , put the iPad on and there you are so I’m having a coffee listening to you . I started work in a hairdressers in the town and stayed with them till my children came along . I did go back for holiday relief and then I started up on my own as there was a need for people that could not get to a shop. Well that was well answered, I feel like we have been sitting together having a blether 😂😂 love doris xx
Hey Jane and Joe this was such a great vlog. I didn't get around to watching the video where you requested questions until too late. So although I did comment I didn't ask anything. (PS I can totally understand where you're at with your marriage to Richard. It sounds like you two have reached a really comfortable place in your relationship where you still love and respect each other despite living in separate homes; like living in separate rooms really. I had a very similar arrangement with my now ex husband and it worked for us for quite a few years.)

Thanks so much for answering my question. Sounds like you loved your job. If you're wondering what i do, i'm a local government senior administrator. I love what i do, and my employer is very supportive and ensures i have what i need, as did previous private sector employers. I've been very lucky in that regard, i understand that's not always the case for VI in work. If you ever wanted to try running your local running club or RNIB local connect group might be able to help access a running guide...and a sports bra helps with the other issue ;) I hadn't spotted your tattoos. I'd always said i'd get one when i was 40, then everyone started getting them and it put me off as i don't like being a trend sheep lol! Sounds like you have a great relationship with your husband. You get all the nice aspects without the arguments about who's turn it is to take the bins out lol! Thanks for doing this vlog, good to get to know a wee bit more about you. Feel free to ask something back, it's only fair! X

That was fascinating thank you 😊 it’s hard to believe about your sight as you have such good taste or is it having Joe as your personal shopper 😁 I also had my first tattoo at 40, that was thumper the rabbit on my right shoulder, but my son who did a fine arts degree went over it last year and changed him to flowers. His next job is to change my spinal op scar as part of a tattoo. I also have ‘no regrets’ tattooed on the side of my right hand . See you next week x
