@@fresitaluvr man it was like 2 years ago and i didnt actually live there ever i just spent the night once in like 2019. idk what you mean by situation but the bathrooms are shared... you're better off asking r/ucsd im sure there will be people willing to explain it to you! i can answer other questions maybe but yeah i dont remember the bathroom situation

Hey! I don't think its a requirement but its definitely more convenient and you get 2 years of guaranteed housing! :)

How hard is it for freshmen to get a single? Someone asked me to do triple recently and idk what to say bc of all the pros and cons...
Well for a freshman I'd recommend you get a triple because it is less expensive and living with other people makes the experience a lot more fun. And its helpful being with people who are going through the same things you are. :) as for the level of difficulty it depends on the availability of singles but just make sure you request it! since you're in Muir if you request it there is a high chance you will get it :)
