Camilia the skoolie is an International DT456 bus turned into the perfect home on wheels by Mike & Tina. After only dating for eight months, Mike & Tina decided mid-pandemic that they wanted to embark on the project of a lifetime together. Although they only travel part-time right now, they hope to become full-time buslifers once their kids finish school. Their beautiful home features a living room with two full-sized couches on either side, a spacious kitchen, a tiled shower with a mini tub, & a beautiful main bedroom. In addition to all of the features on the inside, the exterior of their home features a rooftop deck & awning, making their home on wheels the perfect place to spend time together outside as a family.

The couch beds look comfortable. Everything looks nice.
Great build!! Really enjoyed seeing your bus! Thanks for sharing
What a great lesson these parents have taught their son at a young age...if you can dream it, you can build it!! Love how the son talked about builidng with his parents and how proud he is of their amazing accomplishment. Beautiful memories for this family & great adventures ahead for them too!! 💙🌊🐬
I l9ved the input from your son! He was so sincere!
Well, if you're going all the way to Washington, you should consider adding BC to your itinerary. It's pretty beautiful. That's a nice bus, nice workmanship and layout. Smart choice on the international motor.
How beautiful and so cozy looking
I love this bus build! Looks amazing and comfortable! It has badass look to it too.
I love to see people living THEIR lives o their own terms regardless of those that feel the need to leave negative comments and why this wouldn't work for them. Some people are just determined to be negative and miserable and that's okay too. Live and Let Live People! I love this bus and I live in the St. Pete area and hope to meet you all some day!
God bless you my friend. Thank you so very much for sharing this video with me today Karen Nichols
Really beautifully done!
Loving the T-shirt man!!!
Your tiny house/bus looks fantastic, especially the shower/bathroom, very well thought out, unlike other people's van/bus/tiny home. Just my opinion. :)
Love your home, looks cozy and well thought out. You kitchen is beautiful counter top very nice . Spacious nice refrigerator , love wooden ceilings. Bathroom color and bathroom is beautiful.
Как красиво! Даже пожалуй не так -как стильно и красиво! Продумано до мелочей. Прекрасный дом на колесах и чудесная ,дружная семья !
love it. love the stop sign. It was great to see your son share the pride
Very pretty bus.
VERY NICE!!!❤😂
Love your build. Especially the bathroom with its “Morocco” feel in the tile and the cut of the wall around it. The sink bowl is also very pretty. I am interested in going Tiny myself and have looked at several potty’s. So far Separette Tiny is at the top of my list. So many to choose from. Research, research, research! And of course, the mini split system is a favorite idea as well. Has been since they came out. A beautiful “bus turned castle.” Thanks for mentioning the brand. I know there’s the business about “sponsoring” a video but it really helps to have the name so a person can research the item and see if it’s something that would work for them. A lot of times people go through their build and I see an item that might work for me but there’s no way of knowing where to get that item for your own use!
Congratulations! Job well done on the bus, Praying for your family that the road carries you wherever that your heart leads. 🙏❤️🙏
Yes!!! Beautiful build
Great motor ...but as any motor ....very important to maintain the engine filters, coolant, oil etc ...then it will be a million mile motor
Safe travels ,...nice family ❤️
Shout out St Pete! Hi Neighbors :) Very Nice Build. I love everything about this bus, especially the bathroom tile, the couches, and the 2 mini splits working on solar. Enjoy the good life and Safe travels this summer.
I live how the son says the bus brings them closer together ❤️. I love that. What a beautiful bus.
Very nice! Very cozy!
Beautiful tiny home, smart design!
The kitchen cabinets are very beautiful. I love their dimensions, and how they encompass the sink. The shower is gorgeous as well
Great tiny home you build
Great build I think we saw you today on the Suncoast.
Love it!!!!
Here's a thought: Why not design a system to collect rain water so you don't have to constantly refill fresh water all the time? Just a thought.
I always think the same thing…also the possibility of having the ability to follow the clouds when you need to refill…👍
@@TheTruthlady Maybe design pvc pipes with holes and attach them to the sides of the vehicle and then around to the back and snake it into the huge water tank? not sure? just a thought? have to check with a plumber/builder/i am neitherrAnyway, if it works, everyone will want to copy you, you can take the credit, I don't care. :P
Weight of the actual tanks, rates of accrual, filtration system efficiency just to name some of the obstacles.
@@spartanslaxwax true, then you can take showers all the time. Just have to become storm chasers. Think about it, especially if it's a heavy rain situation, park at a walmart parking, blend in. Sssss! heehee turn on the hot water on demand, enter steath mode, got shower time/ then follow up with whatever dinner/dinner/curl-up in bed, no longer have to showe at th gym.
Recirculation and really great filtration systems are easier from what i understand. Also, if you chase rain you lose access to good solar.
PRETTY❤
What a beautiful build Loved it.
Beautiful bus🥰.
Nice job.
Nice shirt pal psh seen waay better my friend.
Nice job folks!
GREAT JOB!! INDEED
Great video! Just curious as to what kind of fuel mileage you get? How much did the bus cost in the first place? How much did it cost you to build it? Will the bus pull Hills At a good speed, being a powerful engine?
Do you know the name of the sofa by chance. We have been looking for one like that for our skoolie build. Thanks for your time.
LIKE: Bus motor
Where did ya'll mount the compressor units for the mini splits?
On the roof deck :)
I think the buzz looks nice it's real good and you are a pretty host your man and you make a good couple where's the dog
Host
How do you get by without having a fixed home address? Does it cause problems?
I would shut the windows and everything off in the back bedroom because of Jeepers creepers
No washer and dryer and closets
It's not actually a "million mile" motor. Its has the POTENTIAL to be but a lot of work has to go into it to make it that way and it has to have a specific setup and then be maintained. It's definitely not an easy or cheap thing to do either and you have to have someone that really knows what they're doing. I hate that they even call these motors that. It's really false advertisement because most people have no idea they have to basically convert it and make it into one and that it doesn't just come like that. Very deceptive and a lot of people have fallen for it.
So they didnt consider the kids in this build just have the sofa's 🤔
Jimpies r famous?

Do you have a RUclips channel so we can follow you? Thx
I always see in these situations the parents have a big private bedroom while the kids who didn't choose this life have couches 😔🤷♀️
Actually
Actually is my um, what can I say? Def not a pro🤷🏼♀️
Seatbelts????? For those who aren’t in the driver’s seat….
Finding out that they are actually a rich couple who live in an expensive home aside from the bus kind of ruined it for me. I want to see real people when I watch this channel, not millionaires.
How many times can you say “actually” in your narration?!?!?
kinda tired of the kids sacrificing privacy and comfort...
Bless Your Heart. Just because you crave privacy doesn't mean everyone does. Nothing make my family happier than traveling in staying in small spaces together, so please Live and Let Live! Also, if you listened, they don't live in the bus, they are Weekend Warriors.....smh
@LaTonya Lee now, sweetie, bless yours. most young folks do because bodies be doing what they do. whether they feel like they can admit that or not is another story. 😉 weekend warriors or not, the children deserve both their privacy and comfort. I stand by what I said.
@@trippylee LOL! It's okay that you can't admit you may be wrong. I understand and will just let you have your way. You win!
@@latonyalee7821 In most of these builds mum and Dad always have a huge comfortable 'proper' bed to sleep in where as the children or teens are sleeping on bed settees and not even have their own bedrooms.
@@trippylee Agree with you it seems to be more for the parents than that of their children. Seen it so many times in these type of videos.
I feel weird about this person….
