I guess the lower Rio Negro is blanco?..white sands too. Beautiful paradise. I'm going to stay with my Rainbows in my 240 gallon...but all new tankmates will like moving water. Those types are active all day. No more lurker, shy fish or slow eaters...I want that movement from one end to the other!
Those Mesonauta acora at 0:45 to 0:51 are amazing!
Absolutely beautiful ❤😂
Amazing!! It's bugging me though, what are the orange/yellow fish with the uniform spots down the side?
Nevermind. I figured it out. Leporinus klausewitzi

What is the fish at 3:43 defending the fry? I thought it might be a hoplias or a snakehead but it looks like a cichlid, is it a crenicichla?
Crenicichla marmorata
Its a species of pike cichlid they aren't related to pikes but they have a similar ecological role and shape.
I'm planning to set up a Rio Negro aquarium. Could you tell me which plant grow in the Rio Negro?
cool fishes cool video!
AWESOME
I've always wanted a bigger aquarium. I guess I should look at the cost of a 3,977 mile tank...
Plus peacock bass within that diverse group of fishes
Does anyone know what the big yellow filsh with spots from head to tail is called?
By the form of its body and the way it swims it seems like a leporinus.
And it is: Leporinus klausewitzi
