    In Greek we do use and understand αλκοόλ (alcohol) but the most popular word for it is οινόπνευμα (pronounced ee-noh-pnev-mah)

    In Greek, alarm is ξυπνητήρι. Συναγερμός is more ⚠️, for example alarm for fire.
    Also, Τριαντάφυλλο is used as a name: Τριαντάφυλλος( Male) και Τριανταφυλλιά( Female, it's also the name of the plant). My name is Τριαντάφυλλος!

    In the greek language alcohol is called αλκοόλ (alcool) not alkohol as you showed.And the alarm (as an alarm to wake you up ) is called ξυπνητήρι, the συναγερμός you showed is for example a fire alarm. Furthermore, economy is a greek word and it comes from οικονομία (iconomia)

    4:37 as a Greek myself I can say that this little device to wake us up called an “alarm” is actually called “ξυπνητήρι”
    “Συναγερμός” is used when we are talking about, for example, a security alarm.

    As a swiss person I need to say that the germans call „Alarm“ „Wecker“. Because wecken = wake. So Wecker = waker. Makes sense. But if we don‘t talk about the alarm that we hear in the morning it‘s called alarm

      Similar situation in Italy
      We usually call it "sveglia" more than "allarme"
      This one is used more to indicate when there is a dangerous situation and a sound indicate that you need to be in an alert state

      In slovak same as in italy or germany. It can be used as word alarm but alarm is usualy like car alarm or bank alarm. Most of the time you hear word "budík" = "waker"

    So in Russian alarm can be either будильник/budilnik (the closeset translation i can think of is "wakeupper" or "something that wakes you up"), but if it is a fire alarm or something it's called тревога/trevoga.

      Sharab is actually an Urdu word and not hindi, in pure hindi, we say मदिरा (madira), otherwise in slang form, "daaru" works 😂

    The alarm to wake you up in the morning is called a "wekker" in Dutch. (Litterally meaning something that wakes you). Alarm is meant normally for things like car alarms, alarm systems that protect houses and stores, when there is a disaster things like that.

    Oh no, there is a few mistakes in the video, in serbian, montenegrin, and bosnian language rose iz called -ruža, just like in croatian as it was presented at 07:02-07:03, we do use a word roze, or roza for colour pink.

    In Tagalog we also have "alarma" (borrowed from Spanish) but this is for when disaster breaks out ( ⚠) and it also means "alarming" in the context of "It's alarming." (Tagalog: nakaka-alarma)
    But for the one used to wake us up we use the English word "alarm"

    Finnish word: _Sauna_
    Almost in every languages it is "sauna".
    But:
    - Sweden: _"We have also 'sauna', but it is colloquial, Finland-Swedish. The official word is..."_
    - UK: _"Sweden, no."_
    - Finland: _"I know this will not end well. Sweden does not have a sauna properly."_
    - Germany: _"We are waiting"_
    - Sweden: _"Germany, you are the last country that can say so. But the word that we use, is"_ *BASTU*

    In greek the word for rose is "rodho" but we commonly use triantafyllo. But in special cases we say rodhon, example "rodhopetalo", which is each one little leaf from the rose. We call it traintafyllo bcz it " normally" has 30 (trianta) leaves (fyllo)

    The video about "alarm" would make sense for the sound/action related to alerting about a safety/property danger. If explained as the thing that wakes you up in the morning it's a nonsense, as in all 3 languages I speak it's a different word: "sveglia" in Italian 🇮🇹, "Wecker" in German 🇩🇪, "budík" in Czech 🇨🇿

    Συναγερμός (synagermos) is more used for an emergency. For the alarm that wakes up, we have the word: Ξυπνητήρι (ksypnitiri).

    Alarm in German is actually Wecker. The word alarm exists too but refers to an emergency bell or something, not an alarm clock

    In greek clock alarm is ξυπνητήρι the word συναγερμός is more like the war or earthquake alarm
    Or the police one

    So alcohol in hindi is "sharab" which sounds exactly like arabic شراب (sharab) which means drink oe beverage
    And alcohol is a word from arabic الكحول
    So hindi also got its word from arabic
