As Chris Cuomo was handing things off to his colleague, the two of them discussed the recent shooting of two black men in Kentucky, which is now being investigated as a hate crime.

It appears he was using only the number of "terrorist" events committed by different groups, when it seems to me he should be using percentages of the population, and it should be all "violent" events. Terror events is too arbitrary. Who gets to decide? Regardless of all this, The focus should really be how do we stop all violent attacks? It shouldn't matter who's committing them. Let's figure out why and come up with a solution instead of spending all day blaming who's fault it is.
It's not factually correct at all. The ADL is talking about incidents when people were killed, not total number of people killed. Here are the GAO's figures for post-9/11, published April 2017: 62 deadly incidents by right-wing extremists, 106 people killed; 23 deadly incidents by radical Islamic extremists, 119 people killed. Islamists average significantly more victims per deadly incident.
The chart from Quartz that Cenk used is also garbage, using the 59 deaths from the Las Vegas shooting at a country music concert to show lots of "terrorist" deaths in 2017, when no one has any idea what that guy's motives were.
