really cool set, spider bite is not a bad figure, like the new Raphael and victor, but I wish that they expanded the set a little bit too, I don't think the actual build is worth it for $25
just2goodEurobricks Just because they have five episodes online doesn't mean that you can't watch them. In fact this set and the previous set may be featured in some of those episodes.
Maniac4LEGO "Dude, I love printed phones. With this, the ones in the Friends sets, and the one from Series M, I'm going to make a cellphone shop one day."
Lego needs to make more fleshie tank top torsos. I would love to make a fig of a teen boy wearing a tank just like I do but Lego really doesn't make any, if you don't include basketball players torsos, which I have to use unfortunately.
you should try and put your arms around the camera so your arms don't get in the shot. Also whenever I do reviews I pause before taking an accessory off of a minifigure so the viewers don't have to watch me disassemble the figure. Other than that, good review :)
Ok I'll do review on this channel but sorry it might not be till June but I will try and get it but I would like to wait till after exams because it will either of gone down in price or my mum will contributor to buying it or buy it as reward for exams and or I could use my Easter money to get it
Because that's how many people know it as. I had to search up the proper name before I did this review. I asked my mother, and she didn't even know what it was besides being a wife beater.
just2goodEurobricks It seems like you made a a lot of emphasis on it being a wife beater shirt instead of calling it a tank top and saying also referred to as a wife beater shirt
Hey Just2Good, wow you are sick why don't you watch the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV show online at Nick.com so that you can make more authentic comparisons of this set and others from this theme to the show? you said that you would watch the show so why not do it now while you have plenty of time??
Good review but I would've expected a little bit more about the relation to the TV show could you perhaps try that with some of the other sets before you review them? I could help you find them if you need to. Also I'm actually surprised how much you were emphasizing the phone and Victor as interesting parts but probably because you aren't familiar with the show to be interested in other parts of the set. I suppose this said can have uses other than TMNT but as far as the set is supposed to be used I do not really like it. It seems like a large set which is good for the price range but the pieces seem to be off and many different colors are used. I might pick this up for review but at least in mine I will have an authenticity section. Also I am not a fan of the Raphael torso
The authenticity to license is not a factor I get too up tight about with LEGO sets. If it's a film/show from many years before the set is released, in my mind, it would matter. Addtionally, it would have to be a D2C set, which are targeted toward collectors and not children. For example, I was ticked off with the BTTF set hood. And, if The Simpsons House set was drastically inaccurate for no reason, then I would mind. Those are sets that are supposed to be accurate- they're collectors items. I didn't know why people gave the Iron Man 3 sets bad ratings because they were inaccurate. That makes no sense. Those toys were made more than a year in advance. Many things change between the time LEGO set designers start designing and the time the final product is released. Additionally, designers have to add things like play features and open backs (case and point in this set) to appeal to kids. You get what I'm saying? I see what you could mean by relation. I should probably research a bit more about where it takes place in the TV show, along with the research I do on the pieces.
I see. I just thought it would be interesting to note, like I do, since the sets are at least inspired by the show/movie and correlate in some fashion. I'm not saying they can't have added, removed or different details. Yes,D2C should be most authentic but even minifigures, if not builds, are authentic to the film or movie, right? Even if they're not in a D2C set.
dude spider bytez kicks ass so cool :D
He's a really cool mutation!
Hmm Raph's torso can be used for Red Hood and the chamber itself can be used for a Joker origin MOC. Might pick this one up
It does have lots of useful pieces!
I wish they made more sets
Fr
I gotta get these they look very cool. I didn't get any of the last wave do to the fact I didn't like them.
I loved the last wave, and this wave is pretty good, too!
Knock knock.
Who... Who's there?
really cool set, spider bite is not a bad figure, like the new Raphael and victor, but I wish that they expanded the set a little bit too, I don't think the actual build is worth it for $25
Agreed!
In my opinion Spider Bites looks kinda weird
Evan Phelps Agreed.
So Justin I would like to hear your segment about how this set compares to the TV show
I don't watch the TV show. They only have five episodes online.
just2goodEurobricks Just because they have five episodes online doesn't mean that you can't watch them. In fact this set and the previous set may be featured in some of those episodes.
Wow! How many more sets do you have that aren't in stores yet!?
You can buy them in uk on ebay at retail prices.
But these are in stores... LEGO Brand Stores at least.
just2goodEurobricks Are they on the Lego website? Aren't you a lucky duck!
they tend to show up on retail stores before lego actually gets them online. is where i got my new marvel sets from.
Oh nice! Thanks for the info! I often forget about this.
Also, PRINTED PHONEEEEE!
Dude, I love printed phones. With this, the ones in the Friends sets, and the one from Series M, I'm going to make a cellphone shop one day.
Same here, I cant resist whenever Lego makes printed phones.
If you recall this isn't the first time that we got a printed phone piece. We've had phones from bad cop and from Stephanie and from trendsetter
Maniac4LEGO "Dude, I love printed phones. With this, the ones in the Friends sets, and the one from Series M, I'm going to make a cellphone shop one day."
just2goodEurobricks Justin are you joking because this seems like a weird comment.
This TMNT lego wave is pretty good in my opinion but what's your just2goodEurobricks
It's good for the most part. I'm not too fond of the Turtle Sub and T-Rawket.
Agree
My only complain is I can barrely hear you on maxed volume. Check your mic volume/ sensivity!
Go back to health! :)
Alright LoD, I'll try doing just that. Thanks for the concern! :)
Who is Spider Bytez? I don't watch the show
I'm not sure, either...
matt xelos Awesome, my mother raised me on Barry White music. That's the best complement I've heard someone tell me in a while.

Lock Shock Barrel Yeah, I agree.
Also more fleshie colored naked torsos!

Thanks for the tips! My setup would make it impossible to do the first tip. But, I may do the pausing one.
+xavier midgley As I do not have the Turtle Sub, I would love to see a review from you on the set pal!

Bat Bricks
Alright!
I have this set
While* not wow
It’s not zaze

This set already has a lot big molds so just give it a break. I think $25 is a perfect price.
The only big new exclusive mould is Spider Bytez...
I WAS WEARING A TANKTOP WILE WATCHING THIS VID!!!!!
LOL
The ones that are known as Turtles, that I call frogs must be destroyed! Can't get enough of Victor sad he's only in 2 episodes only
R.I.P. Victor: Helllooooooooooo Project Morpheus!!!
Nice review that fic torso for Trevor I can't wait for leather head ru sure u do not want me to send video of turtle sub complete ur reviews for tmnt
If you didn't want kids to call it a wife beater shirt then why would you mention it that way if it can be called a tank top?
Because that's how many people know it as. I had to search up the proper name before I did this review. I asked my mother, and she didn't even know what it was besides being a wife beater.
