Children need to learn to compete. You have three boys; you are raising men. Don’t emasculate them. They won’t know how to navigate in a world where competition is a normal and necessary thing. I am a grandma. I see what’s happened to the younger generation. Too much of not letting personalities develop; skills develop; abilities develop. Competition is part of being human. Let your kids discover themselves fully.

Your basement is AMAZING! I've had a couple of really nice unfinished basements and the last two have been like dungeons. But, at least I've had one for storage. I've always liked board games, but haven't played any for many years. When I was little, my favorite was Candyland. Sometimes I would would end up crying, but not because I lost, but because I won 🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣 Still to this day I have absolutely no idea why. Anyway, Happy Hanukkah 🕎✡🇮🇱🙏
There plenty of cooperative games that don’t encourage competitive behavior. Dinosaur escape and stone soup are good. We have many games the are cooperative or have an aspect of cooperative play.

I love competition!!! I shoot pool twice a week. It's fun playing someone who's just as competitive as I am.
While I don’t love competition especially when it’s being forced on to children if done correctly and not overdone it can be very good for children because it can teach them the importance of good sportsmanship how not to be a sore loser or winner to always try your best to work hard to achieve a goal there’s also self improvement or beating your own time those are the the good sides of competition

Your basement looks similar to mine when my boys were young and I’m gonna tell you that big space will eventually be ball hockey zone. They’ll put a net or two and shoot tennis balls back-and-forth my kids are older like older than you and they still like to play ball hockey when they’re not workingOr taking care of their kids. My grandparents bought my brother and I a plastic bowling set for when we were at their house. That would be a perfect place for them to play a game like that.

Next time melt the chocolate in a glass. You can dip the pretzel in 1/2 to 3/4 of the way. Let the chocolate drip off while the pretzel is just raised in the glass. Then roll in whatever you are using. You can always make these without a kit. The chocolate melts are almost always Kosher. Pick up a bag of pretzel sticks and sprinkles.

7:35 Please do "interior wiring". You won't see hideous cords at all. They go inside the wall. Electricians will do it for you.
